Got the second set of sensors today, CLEARLY there is a difference. The dark one is the set I got today, and the light grey one is what I installed last week:
Reset the TPMS system, drove around the corner, and
the RDE008 are for a ton of BMW & Cooper till 09. The Correct RDE012 are the MINI specific 09+ TPMS. Both are 433mhz. The correct ones should have been a few $ less
greg where did you get your wheels? im looking at a site called " modo bargains" they have the E9X M3 replicas. 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 for the rear. which im guessing is to wide? yours look great. thanks.

The ones from Mod Bargains are for bigger (3-series or 5-series) BMW's that use a staggered (wider rear than front) setup. You need wheels that fit the 1-series BMWs. I got mine from TireRack, all four wheels are the same size, 19x8.5+42 Click here for the link

Another option are these M3 220-style replicas from OEM Concept:
In the drop-down menu, they offer a 19 x 8" +35, which is just 1 mm more outside than Greg's 19 x 8.5" +42. They are a little pricier, but probably a more close replica than the Elbrus (if that matters to you). For example, they even have the little rectangle spot under the centercap for the ///M sticker.
Obviously Breyton makes a wheel for the CM judging by JBCOLAS photo but does anybody know if it comes in a different finish,,,not sure black would look good on mine I have shadow grey color
I was thinking of doing a staggered set what is the largest 19" tire we can run in the rear?
Bad idea. The rear is a tighter fit than the front. The rears are what rubs when you're lowered with wide tires.
You have a very narrow window when it comes to 19" tires on these cars, especially if the car is lowered. Fortunately others have done the research and trial fitting, so pay careful attention to the wheel offset and tire sizes that others have used and don't risk trying something else or you'll end up with something that doesn't fit.
Our car is lowered slightly (NM springs) with 19x8.5+42 wheels with 245/40/19 tires. The rears rubbed the plastic fender arches when hitting big dips in the road for a few thousand miles, until the plastic arches wore down... so there is no room for a lower offset or more width, it just won't fit.
