With a 35 offset, a 10 will protrude exactly 1.14 inches more than a 19x8.5 +45 will, which is a relatively small amount. With minimal negative camber as well as 225 series tires, i think i can make them work. Being a tech at mini, its nice to have pacemans laying around so i can measure backspacing and whatnot. I will also be running adjustable rear camber arms and coilovers with adjustable dampening and front camber plates so i can dial in camber in the front as well. The coilovers will make it so i wont rub as badly. This is all in theory mind you lol.
well the larger the number the more "inset" the wheel will be for instance the stock offset on our wheel is a 52....I went down to a 38 offset and that is pushing it.... so 35 might be overboard IM not sure bro the best advice I can give you is to have a wheel picked out that you can actually test fit because you can measure until your blue in the face but when it comes right down to it its all about the practical application I used Americas tire here in so. cal. and was able to test mount and fit everything they even allowed me to drive with the set up for a little bit to make sure I liked it and everything was good....basically un heard of in the industry but they are a great source for this...GOOD LUCK!and keep us informed of what you decided to do!

Scored them off EBay last year. It was the guys last set and I haven't seen them on there when I've looked afterward. But I'm sure they're out there. I got the center caps elsewhere from Sewell Mini.

I've have the opportunity to purchase a set of 5 AD wheels for my 2012 Countryman. 19x8", with a +40mm offset and a 73.1 center bore. Any issues I should be aware of here? Since 19x8" is a stock JCW size, I'm planning to run 225/40-19 tires. I'm wondering about the possibility of rubbing (stock non-sport suspension) and whether I will need to use centering rings.

did you ever get the vmr's. I just bought a 2014 jcw countryman but can not get a straight answer on what size offset in a 19 inch wheel will work without rubbing issues. I like the vmr 703, 710 and 718.

Jsackstein, I never got the wheels but that was the size and offset I was going to go for and I am lowered on H&R springs. I only run about 1.5 degrees of negative camber in the rear and I don't think with the right tire size that they would rub.

thanks for the reply. I am a car mod novice. This one will be the one I learn on. You lost me on camber. Would you happen to know what the offset is on the stock 19s (crushers) and what range of offset I can do safely with a 19 inch wheel without negatively impacting the performance of the car (rubbing, handling, speed, etc)? Thanks again.

19 inch wheel flat tire question. I have had a 2014 JCW countryman with 19 inch run flats for two months and just got my third flat. I live in north east so roads are admittedly banged up from a tough winter but this is nuts. Car is starting to feel un-drivable. I am trying to determine if changing to non run flats will make a differences and / or if I need to abandon the 19 inch wheels

What's causing the tires to go flat? Just normal road use?

From everything I've read, this should be ok, but need to make certain. A friend of mine has a Paceman and wants to drop it on coilovers and throw on some 19's. The wheels he is looking at are 19x8.5 45et.

I'm not too concerned with the wheel fitment other than strut clearance on the inside regarding the coilovers. Will he need spacers at all?

Thanks for the help!

New owner and to Mini! People on 19s and lower like maybe on the NM or H&R, any rubbing or problem? Might be doing 19s with 225/40/19. Thanks!

Oh, also sorry about the use of wrong terms and words but i see the white, blue Countryman above, on the side where the side marker is located in front of the side mirror. Both of the cars the side marker cover/panel is black/dark in color matching the fender flare. Did you guys paint them or can get it in black/dark color for match??

THANKS in adv!

Xenor, not really a tire question , but how do you like the H&R springs? Did you change the stock shocks and if so what worked
Thanks
