I think it was $33 for the races and + $4 if you are using one of the helmets from the facility but here is the rest of the info from the registration site
We will be doing two ten minute races, yes, I said races. Unlike driving schools and track days, this IS a race and passing is allowed in the turns!
11:00AM - Sign in, get your helmet, chat a bit.
11:10 AM - Drivers meeting, we will review the rules and then set the first run group off. We will draw numbers to decide which run group you will be in and which cart you will drive each session.
Full face helmets with visor and neck braces are required, so bring your own or there are many good rentals available. Balaclava are required for rental helmets
Do wear jeans and a 'dirty' sweater for when you are karting. Don't wear anything that you would be worried about getting greasy. You will smell like gas, your hands will get dirty, so wear gloves if this is a problem. They have a bathroom where you can change and clean up. There is a nice waiting area with couches, TV, vending machines with drinks, an arcade and pool table area. Segway rides and motion theater passes are also available.
After we've finished our races (12:15-12:30), we will be heading to a pub for food and drinks so stick around for that. Some of the track junkies will even be going back for a second helping of karting after lunch.

Mike I picked up a flip video ultra a couple of days ago. It will do a great job for karting. Additionally, I have a MiniDV camera as well.
