When can dealer order 2009's either clubman or sedan, non S. Would like late October delivery, but a 2009 model, Fla delivery.

Any input please!!!

 

From what I understand from my MA, Mini models stick to the actual year they've been released.

So you won't see a 2009 until....welll, 2009.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems they begin taking orders for the next model year sometime in October.

 

yeah from what I can tell is that in Europe the 2009 model year is out in late 2008, but then they ship to the US and don't show up till after the first of the year. Atleast, thats how it was when I picked up my 2007 in January 2008; they were waiting on the 2008 models and didnt get them for a couple more weeks.

 

We just put in an order today for a Clubman (non S) and were told it would be an 09 model and we could expect delivery in Oct/Nov. Also, the configuration/build module on the mini USA website has the new 2009 packaging and pricing info updated. I hope that helps.

 

There's a MINI sedan? When did this happen? :P

My dealer said if I wanted ANY MINI besides a JCW that I'd be waiting until December at the earliest, and that some of the Clubmans were on backorder until early 2009.

 

Same thing here...ordered last week...get a Production number in September for a delivery in late October or November.

The 2009 JCW's were officially released on June 14, 2008. I have one.
