I have an iPhone 6+, which my 2009 clubman s can't control like my old iPhone 4s. Just curious if it's possible to update the mini software to fix this.
I added the Apple lightning adaptor to the mini Y adaptor, it only charged the IP6 but nothing else.
I assume you tried unplugging all the cable adapters, then reconnecting in order from car to phone?
If not, sometimes it's just an old Y-cable getting flakey. You can pick up a perfectly functional one for $20 on Amazon or eBay. When I replaced my iPhone 4 (30-pin connector) with a 5 (lightning connector), I had the same problem you are having with your 6. Replacing the Y-cable adapter solved my problem and it works fine on my 6+.

Are you talking about the Mini Connected App? I heard it's supposed to be updated mid-August. 2015. I plugged my iPhone6 in and it's pretty disappointing. No bluetooth streaming. The App is slow as molasses.
