Need opinions on my color/roof thinking

I think I may have mentioned that my classic is off being de-rusted in preparation for paint. It's going to be bright orange with a black roof and I'm leaning towards the Grabber Orange available on 2007 Mustangs, like this:

The question I'm asking about is a thought I had for a roof graphic. I'm thinking about putting the Aussie sporting icon of a boxing kangaroo on the roof. I did a photoshop mockup and I want some opinions please.

I actually like the contrast of the yellow...if you carry it over to some other part of the car. Just a small touch somewhere else...maybe as pinstripes on the bonnet stripes?

The roo kinda should be yellow, since Australia's colours are green & gold. The yellow roo is usually displayed on a green background, like this:

I think the yellow clashes with the orange personally... But I see why you want it to remain that color. I think if the car were less orange that the clash wouldn't be as bad, for whatever THAT's worth...

Black roof is VERY hot

gotta say that I'm tryin to decide what color to change to since moving to Florida confirms that the black roof can make the car resemble a convection oven......

Orange and black - another "Dutch Mini." It's a cool color combination, that's for sure.

the PS looks good. Maybe it's just my monitor but that Mustang orange looks very dull...unless that's what you're going for.

The Mustang orange in person is quite bright. I'm looking for the brightest orange I can get. The problem I'm hitting is that the paint shop wants me to give them a paint code. So I have to find a BRIGHT factory orange paint, but I don't want metallic. If I was ok with metallic, I'd get either Audi' Papaya Orange or Lotus' Chrome Orange.

Both the Audi and Lotus colors are pretty impressive up close and personal. I actually like the depth that the metallic hints add to them.

My DS/B (w/o sunroof) heats up much less than a LY/W w/sunroof.

I've been driving the classic with a black roof in a Las Vegas summer and it's not that bad. I'm not repainting the roof.

From everything I've been reading, hugger orange and grabber orange are very similar oranges. Of course, being color-blind, my take on bright is not necessarily the same as everyone else's. What I REALLY wanted was neon orange, but I'm told that it fades rapidly and will look like crap in just a few months of the Las Vegas sun.

Well, the car is now orange, should be out of the paint shop this week.
It's grabber orange, the same color that Ford is painting 07 and 08 Mustangs. It's kind of a yellowy orange, but I find it very bright (might be my messed up color-blind eyes).
