Knocked my exhaust off my 1275 a few weeks ago on a raised sewer plate. Not exactly a straight pipe but sounded great, for a little while. I think if I ran it around the block one more time the neighbors would have taken up a colllection for a new exhaust. Forget the new MCS burble when lifting, this thing was nasty . I decided to do a little custom work so I am now running a single muffler that is a bit louder than my old 2 box, but not obnixous.

Flames - not vinyl I hope:-) Next story
I had been knowingly running a bit rich - had some flames from the exhaust at times....My wife loved it when she would follow me places at night. I have leaned it out so lost that effect but it is running a lot smoother and pulling through a rev ranges w/o any flat spots.
