Argh! Who makes replacement bonnet badges?

I was flipping across the 'web a few days ago and stumbled on a web site that sold lots of classic Mini badges/logos. Specifically, they sold a badge that looked like the "winged", late-model Mini logo (the one with the round center), but they had the option of getting the Mini logo in several differnt colors or even with a Union Jack center.

Now, of course, I can't find it again - Doh!

The one I saw was only about $12 and was located in the US. MiniMania has plenty of badges, but not the winged one as far as I can tell, and not with different-colored center logos. Google's not helping me out for a change...

Can anyone help me out? It was called "fineclassicminis.com" or something like that IIRC.

Thanks!

That is the same badge I have on my car. Very nice. GB is a great site!

I dunno - I'm torn. My instinct is to just get the "clasic" green center, seeing as my car (a '92) really should PROPERLY have the Mini shield, not the wings. But I've always lusted after a car sporting the "wings" so... I guess anyhting I do really, unless it's verified OEM original will tick off SOME purist somewhere.

Ashley - that's FANTASTIC! I'll havr to look into that (with a red center, of course...)

I don't know what the Mini Shield is. All of the classics I have ever seen have the wings on it.

Who cares what other people think. I surely don't. I have had people on minimania.com say mine is not a "real" Mini because it has 13s on it. How stupid. Get whatever you want. I have the green Mini on the back and the UJ on the front. Have fun!!

Not that my opinion matters, and... I'm not even a classic mini owner (yet), but I totally agree with Minimaniac74.

I like the badge with the horns. Actually, I just looked at the website that offers these badges. I'd be included to go with an angle hallow on front and the devil on the back! Gotta cover both sides you know. As for 13" wheels, I like the 10s and 12s, but would/could learn to enjoy 13s if connected to the evil devil aka Vtec. Oops, now I'm really in trouble...
