Spotted chequedmini's old CR/B MC with checkered stripes heading north on Edens today.. Shot her an e-mail letting her know I saw her old car and it turns out she also saw it today in Highland park

 

7:15 AM Spotted a nice CR/B 08 MCS "MiniMite" on Upper Wacker at State, Hellas and optional wing. Looked good!

 

6/21 - CR MCS at Home Depot in Round Lake Beach - Two guys attaching a 4'x8' sheet of dry wall to the roof, broken in half.

JB/B MCS ended up turning off of 22 and then got back on 22 by the Comfort Inn
Spotted 2 others but did not get a good look. One turned south on to 21 from 22 and the other turned from 22 onto Old Half Day road.

 

If that DS MCS was white instead of black it would have been me. wheels and all. i need to find this person...they obviously have great taste!

 

Do you have an R53 logo on the boot? If you were on 22 at that time it could have been you, I tend to forget what the roof color is...

 

Spotted a few coming home from Six Flags yesterday... all between 3-4pm along Rte 21:

• MY/MY MC - sb rte 21 turning eb to 137
• JB/W MCS - nb Rte 21 b4 176
• PW/B MCS - nb Rte 21 after 176
• PW/PW MC - sb Rte 21.. you were behind me approaching Euclid

 

nope, not me...i have yet to be spotted. i think its because i blend in with the pavement stealth mode style!

i do have a grille badge though...slow traffic, move right....if only people could see it in their rvm.

 

That was me! I looked over the first time I passed you on the right, but you didn't look over, but glad I got a chance to exchange the wave. I have waved so many times to no avail... glad it was a reciprocated one!

We did have a nice 3 MINI convoy going there for a bit. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

 

I think we just mistimed our looks. The return wave was nice, thanks. There are too many times where waves are not returned. Perhaps a course in MINI etiquette should be required prior to taking delivery.

I think the guy in front of me forgot where he was going. He turned in by the hotel and then made a u-turn back to 22. I work in one of the office buildings back there.

 

He was probably too busy staring at your MINI and turned prematurely...

Tailed by a CR MCSC for a mile or two in Evanston today around 1-ish. Pulled up alongside at a light but the driver was engaged in social activity with her passengers, so no pleasantries exchanged.

BRG/B MCSC - Sidewalk. Parked near 83/Landmeier Rd @ 12:45pm. Very nice

A rare sighting indeed. Finding ONE Oxy Blue on the street is tough enough, but two in the same place?!?!?!?!?

They look great, though!

You're right though....besides mine, I've only seen 2 other oxy blue ones on the road!!
