YES, I was headed to Schaumburg!!! That was me!!! OMG...you saw me...where were you???? I dont have any of the mods on yet, im still waiting for them I just have the black Rotas on cuz i sold the Enkeis..

On my way to Schaumburg I spotted a CR/W MCS with bonnet stripes, we exchanged waves.

 

cool! Those dark wheels (Rotas) looked like 16's, so wasn't too sure if it was you cause all your picts show the 17" Enkei's. 16's are kick-butt on our cars in terms of performance. I was coming home from work in my Civic
so you didn't notice me. I dissappear into the background with that car.

 

Disappears just like we do with our DD biege Corrolla. Surprising how fast you can go with a stealth car.

My wife has a stealth Corolla too... it's like a metallic beige color like yours.
So many out there I can't tell which one's ours at the mall parking lot.
what makes it worse is that I can't remember the license plate number.

they both have 1.8 liter engines, so why is the Cooper so much faster?


Must be the graphics. And less weight, only 2 doors.

 

I think the cooper is like 500lbs lighter! .

Toyota did a good job gearing the 4AT though on the 03's+...my
Civic's a 1.7L (weird, huh?) and geared too high. man, is it a boggin'
ride. but the AT is much smoother than the Corolla.

Had a Black MC park next to me at the local dominicks on McCormick May 8th.

very cool, one of the few times another MINI acknowledges me. The car was a bit dirty, but you are definitely excused as it was a very cool surprise to find you there.

 

saw an IB/W MCS with white bonnet stripes heading westbound on Thorndale towards Schaumburg today..it was raining and i was in the dd. It was a young woman zipping through traffic :D

Euroteknik.com is the European car club that I am a part of. Check it out, we have some MINIs on there, but pretty much its a diverse crowd..from BMW to Lotus. I'm getting my work done by Patrick Auto Body in Schaumburg. They did my aero kit...so they do quality work.

Its coming along nicely....fitting wasnt too bad of a problem...took more time than expected. The paint on it looks amazing...its truely one of a kind...i think. all the people on this board that have CF hoods dont have this paint job ...hopefully by friday/saturday it should be done.

2percooper- cool! I posted over there too. highly recommend the hood pins and also a rope to tie down when you have the bonnet propped open at outdoor carshows. seen too many CF hoods get blown in the wind and
get damaged.
