Same here I think we need to get our timing improved so we get at least 1 wave on our commutes

Parked by an '06 CR/B MCC (with the top down) in the Woodman's parking lot at I-94 & Hwy 50 in Kenosha. We exchanged pleasantries as we both got back to our cars at the same time.

 

I saw (drove behind) ChicagoMini on Rt. 83 today. I saw that you have your '07 CMMC sticker, I have to wait til May to get mine.

huh I was thinking I'd see some the latter half of last week when we started toping 50 and having nicer days again and thats when seemed to dissappear. Considering I coverd 500 miles in 3 days that week I figured I'd have had to see at least one all random chance, I keep doing the math and can't figure out how Ords and I didn't see or wave to each other on the 13th (invisible Cooper?)

Didn't know there was one, and to think I almost started a thread asking if anyone wanted to meet up in April but I don't have any hint of knowing my schedule past next week so I don't know what I've got for "weekends" yet.

 

Still working on it... I have a few ideas that I am trying to put together.

 

Down in IL yesterday, although he (you) weren't driving a MINI, we did chat at a Shell station and you mentioned that you are a MA at Knauz... though I never did ask your name.

Spotted a CR/W MCS w/ white bonnet stripes and a sweet set of orange flames on the doors. We were both headed downtown on the Ike around 9:30 this morning. I waved, but heavy traffic got in the way.

 

Time: 3:30pm, give or take a half-hour.
Place: Somewhere along Route 41, north suburbs.
You: Chili Red MINI. Were you a Cooper or a Cooper S? I don't know. You were waiting to turn onto N/B 41 from one of the lots. You spotted me and waved.
Me: Dark Silver/Black MINI Cooper S with bonnet stripes. I was driving northbound on 41. I caught your wave and waved back. I hope you saw it and didn't think I was rudely ignoring you--you were still waving when I went back to my business.

(You know, one of these days, I'll be able to more quickly pick up on MC vs MCS and be able to distinguish the different shades of blue at a single glance. For right now, all I manage is "ooh, MINI!")

i was at the light, spacing out, waiting for it to turn green so i could drive the funness that is the ramp going onto pedersen. thats the best part of my drive- especially if no one is in front of me.

also spotted: someone pumping gas on 12 and volo village in volo around 7:20pm. i cant even remember the color! its been a long day...

Another Tuesday spotting. In Plano, again I spotted the same HB/B MCSC, this time parked. I stopped and went into the business where it was parked and I met the owner who I waved to last week.

We have a new friend and I have a new volunteer opportunity. How cool!!!

 

Matched a CR on 290(355-thorndale) for a while, passed a LY on RT53 @ 90 and another CR in Tower Lakes 59 and Roberts Rd.

No waves in a long long time
