Last Tuesday, I pulled up behind an all black '05 or '06 MCS at the intersection of Central and 55th. Exchanged waves while waiting for the light to change. Followed him into the economy parking garage at Midway.

I need to look at my signature every once in awhile to remember what colors my Mini is!! This weekend doesn't look favorable for washing off all the crud.

so you're gainfully employed! Congrats! which one?? I thought both options were a bit of a drive. Either way, thats great news. I feel sorry for anyone up north... I hear MN was supposed to get a foot of snow I guess the storm missed us... it's just really wet and slushy...

Full time employment too so I get all sorts of nice state employee benifits after my 6 month probation period. I'll be based out of Downers Grove, so the good part is most of its going to be highway so it'll pass by quickly.

Pearl was cleaned 2 days ina row when it was 50 out so it better be a damn good reason if I'm pullin her out of the garage, even though I've got everything set for an awsome photo in my driveway with the tin of HEAVY snow we got up here (6in snow wet 1in slush; I can make leathal snow ***** now heehee) But we're supposed to get anoother 4in so I'm holding off just yet.

that's great it's a bit of a hike to get to DG from where you're at... mostly expressway.. but still a hike. I guess depending on your schedule, traffic may not be a problem. Good luck with it

We had a MINI parade going for a while.

aww yeah, drove up to Lake Geneva and rte 12 had some super deep blowing snow that was scraping the underside of my car. if the rumors are true about the MINI changing to turbo AWD, i am so all over it. it'll be like driving a lil tank!

spotted yesterday:

BRG/W MCS 94 express lane heading north around 1:30.

was in the mini van with mom though- i waved and if you saw me (which i dont think you did) you would have been like "why are you waving?! Who ARE you?"

I don't mind the white stuff.. especially in the MINI. I used to hate winter driving in my Saturn. The best thing about driving a car thats not so good in the snow is when you get a car that can handle it, it's so much more fun to drive when it does snow

I was on Golf Rd last night.. going home and the snow was blowing side-ways across the road. I've never driven through that before. Good thing there wasn't much traffic at that point. Better for me anyways

Any bets on whether the snow will melt in time for the Spring Drive next week ???

Being a weather geek, I dont think we will see much melting, however the Drive next Sunday looks good for 40's and SUNSHINE!
