Unfortunately, the amount of time needed to attempt to tune my vehicle would cause others to not be able to participate in the event. I would like for others that may have less modifications, and simplier mods to enjoy a tuning day, versus me on the dyno for several hours, testing and tuning.

So hopefully someone knows a shop around here that can tune MINI's.

Rich,

There allowing 90 minutes per tune, do you think you will need more than that??

Besides there is only one tune after the 7:00pm tune. You could get lucky!!

Speedlab/ Automekanika in Spring Grove is where all of my pals go. I can email the owner to get rates/ times for you if you'd like.

I just didn't want to get in the way of others for their tune. With all the aftermarket parts I have, just trying to find a decent baseline is going to be difficult.

Zagadka - if you could, plase send me more info on the shop your pals go to. PS --I'm running 100 octane, just a heads up, some shops have needed to know this prior to tuning.

Autoxcooper - thanks for the pm. I'll check them out.

what are you using to tune your car? like software wise? unichip? if so GRD (genesis racing and development) located in a think villa park, illinois now does outstanding dyno tunes! thats where i got my car tuned at, and have never been so impressed! and as you can see i have tons of aftermarket stuff to! the 100 octane is not a problem there. i was tuned for 93oct and 100oct on the b-map.

Rich, tune it for 90 or 89 octane!

AMVIV VI is right around the corner. Remember how great the gas is west of the continental divide and south of the Mason-Dixon?

Don't worry this time... I found a gas additive that is an 112 octane rating!!!

If you are using the stock ECU, I highly doubt you will find anyone that can do a "tune" on your MINI beside the few folks that are using the Dimsport software.
