As we all know this year is the last year we will have the Mighty Supercharged engine, and this July will be the last production month for the convertible R52, and to celebrate MINI will have a run of 100 Convertible S in Astro Black, Black Panther English Leather (Lounge w/white),JCW Pkg. Black Top Black Wheels and the Sidewalk Pkg.

I am not sure of price or how many per dealer...more to come.

just placed my deposit on the limited farewell edition of the R52 - there seems to be very little information other than there wilkl be only 100 made and the info above about triple black w/JCW. I don't even know the price but as of this morning my order is in! My dealer says it will produce during July and that I should receive it in August.

I was at our local dealer a week ago & the MA I talked with said they had just ordered the last R52 they were able to. From the sounds of what he told me it's going to be the ultra rare kitchen sink-huge dealer profit model.

Kind of sad thinking that soon there'll be no more new supercharged MINI's.

 

Does anyone know the exact spec of all the options for this MINI? If so, please post.

Not sure if it will have a Rear Fog Lamp, knowing MINI and they special editions will not come spec with one, and the Chrono Pkg will probably will not be on from the get go.

It should be price at the MSRP, will be up to the dealer to have a extra charge.

Regarding the badge will be silly to have the last supercharge badge if you do not own one of the 100, but thats just me...

I hope no one thinks that one of the last 100 R52 convertibles will be worth any more that any other R52 in similar condition. Well on second thought maybe in 40 years or so it will be.

Definitely true. I was just (mis) (or wishfully) interpreting it as last of the supercharged coupes with respect to the R53 before the R56. But, as you mention, that's not really the intent of the badge.

In any event, the badge looks really cool!
