BlimeyCabrio - Does your local MINI dealer have one of these in their showroom?
The MINI dealer here in Greenville is not expecting to get one in till next week.
My understanding is the official release date is tomorrow (Thursday).

really torn about the aero kit... Where did you hear about the Thursday release date? Mine still shows as being at the distribution center on the owner's lounge

You could call Drew or Frank at Flow MINI and they could tell you, though!

 

I love the Aero Kit on the Cabrio, my dealer stole my chance of getting one.

Did you ever think about/look at doing the Aero Kit after the fact?

 

I think I saw one of these at Mini of Towson in Maryland a couple weeks ago. I didn't know what I was looking at, lol, but I liked it.

Yes I have and Outmotoring.com has the one I want.
The problem is that I can't find anyone that will guarantee that they can match the Pure Silver paint.
Apparently Pure Silver is really hard to match, so my other option is to paint the aero kit a contrasting color like gray or black.

 

The official last of the supercharged MINIs does not come with an aero kit, and the one you are showing does not have the special bonnet stripes or the badges.

I haven't seen one with the bonnet stripes or badges. Does yours have them? It looks like about half of the dealers I have talked to have put an Aerokit on it.

 

Is this one? At the PhillyMINI meet in the beginning of August, the local dealer, Mainline MINI, brought out some new cars join us on the run, including this as well as a couple of new JCW Clubmans. This Sidewalk he told me was one of last of the batch, and he told me they all came with the JCW package.

I posted some photos in my gallery and in the last of the r-52 thread that is running. Took delivery tonight, it has the stripes, badges, and sills.

I agree with AKIndiMini, that is one beautiful MINI.
It would have been much nicer with JCW rims and Aero Kit, but it is beautiful as is also.
