Prestige had one for long while, every time I dropped by I was sorely tempted to trade my '09 in for one. It is truly a sharp-looking car.

Much as one must respect that delightful supercharger whine, it was high time for MINI to move to a more fuel efficient power plant. I won't be lamenting the loss of the 1st gen engine (though some enthusiasts may choose to do so). No, I think I'll just relegate it to legend status and move on.

Really sorry to bump such an old thread... but sort of desperate.

I've been searching for a replacement LotSC badge for about a year now after mine was stolen. If any of you still have your badge, can you send me a couple high-res pics of it?

Mini can't replace it, and it's needle-in-a-haystack hard to find one from a wrecked one.

I'm going to try to have GoBadges replace it with a release from Mini. They opened a PUMA case and said that's my only option.

Thanks, guys!

I'd love to have one too. I bought my '08 used and it didn't have one with it!

If we can get a kind soul to provide pics, I will be more than happy to do the artwork to send to GoBadges.

As long as you have a LotSC VIN, we could split the cost of the custom badge fees. I guess that goes for anybody else in the same boat. If you want to have your individual number, we won't be able to split fees, but I can give you the art once I finish it.

These got stolen a lot according to Mini - apparently there have been more than 20 legitimate requests for replacement, and hundreds of illegitimate requests (why? - I have no idea).

Mine got ripped right off my grille...

JCW Aero kit

Does anyone know if the newer version of the JCW aero kit will fit on these?

As in the R53 kit, or the 2nd gen kit?

The 1st gen kit, yes - the second gen, no.

Yep - sadly, it's probably the hardest piece to find of all MINI parts now.

Just lucky to have mine after a very kind MINI person found one and sold it to me for a reasonable charge.

Great, glad you got one.

Yea I dug and it was hard to find, was worth the shot, hoping it was not NLA. The motoring hearts badge which is also hard to find, in some locations, is NLA also.

Thanks , I am glad they are found now.

Those were rare , but I could go even more rare...

I believe this is the MINI E grille badge. Part # 51147234380

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/51147234380/

And the 10 years in america grille badge is for MINIs that are that model. Its Vin specific from MINI.

Thanks.

Now ironically, I had one of the 10-Years badges (bought it from a club member) and ended up giving it to a member that needed it for his car (dealer must have kept the badge).

I didn't even notice we were in this LotSC thread.

Been meaning to post that my #72 LotSC will be for sale very shortly.

My Stingray came on Wednesday, and I have more cars than garage space now.

Just got mine today. Details and pictures to follow. It was originally sold out of Moritz in Arlington, Texas and came to my hands in Lubbock. I know the build date was 30 June 08 (according to the vin decoder). Is there a plate somewhere that says where it is in the last of the Supercharged 100 order?

It's missing the grill badge but still has the door scuttle covers.

Nice find, the Badge is NLA. They way to tell is to look for the sill and the grille badge. And the options of the Sidewalk Edition and its a 2008 model year. Think that's about it.

If the Badge is NLA from MINI USA, is anybody doing (or can do) a reproduction?

new from Massachusetts

Hi All,
I just purchased my first Mini and absolutely love it! When I was looking, came across this one for Sale and didn't realize how rare it was until I started researching. Anyhow -I have #77 last of the supercharged. Have had it for 1 week, here are some pictures I took of it today. As you can see, it still has the dog badge but in rough shape, I'm thinking of removing it and restoring it and just keeping it off after the horror stories of theft I've heard about. Enjoy!
-Bob
