Sans stripes...aero kit (seems like you've had that a while, but not sure I've seen it).

Great pictures, Cigarguy.

It's so rare to find a MINI without the bonnet stripes that it now stands out. We saw hundreds of MINIs all together at Boston Harbor, and it was a chili red S convertible without stripes to which we kept returning for photos -- a real classic looker.

I've always preferred the black grill on the aero kit to the chrome on the standard grill. Seems to be my luck that my preferences always fall into the "extra cost option" category. For once I wish my preferred look was the less expensive route.

Hope all is well with you and your family.

Actually, no aero kit, just painted arches/trim.

Honest! I did my due diligence, and I actually tried doing a search to see if this question had already been asked and answered ... and it hasn't. So here goes ... the minister in me has to ask ... how did you come up with the name Spurgeon?

P.S. Very nice car, by the way!

Thanks for the compliment. You obviously are onto me. LOL. You are on the right track, Ray. Knowing Spurgeon's history, think about my screen name and it will all come clear. PM me if you want to talk further about it.

The quote I got was for $600 but an act of misfortune turned into fortune and I got it done for free!
