Thank you all that attended! WE are still struggling to get back through the Utah/Idaho/Oregon route back home! Hope to be home tonight but sounds like we may have to spend another night on the road due to the weather!

was fun meeting people... great event. Really different feel then the dragon like i'm used to. My brain is still a little slow and angry at me for the alcohol intake... but i'm recovering. Although my lips are winburt to h3ll.

We came down for Saturday on Becky's flight benefits, and had a great time..... until we tried to leave.
Leaving got a tad sticky. The flight we were supposed to make, that was "wide open," slammed shut. We tried several flights, and no go. We could get nothing to anywhere in northern CA. I called Mike from the airport about midnight (five hours after our first flight left), who passed the word around. Brian (70spop) called me back on my dying cell phone, and offered some floor space in his room for us, and a ride home the next day (that day, really), since he was flying solo, and had to drive right past our place on his way home. Give the Man the Motoring Medal of Honor. The Gold Mini Award.

Aww yes. My wife used to work for SWA. If I'd have known, I'd have told ya. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER try to fly standby from Vegas on a Sunday. Unless you can make the EARLY flight. Yikes.

Wow... we have been M.I.A on the boards lately however wanted to check in and thank all of the AMVIV Sin City MINI's/coordinators/vendors/all our fellow 'miniacs' for a fantastic event! We returned home to SoCal early this afternoon...I chased blumini all the way to our drive....Looking forward to taking part in some great runs in NorCal in the upcoming months...
See you out on the twisties!

Thanks to Sin City MINI club for another fantastic event. I also had a pleasant surprise visit by Dominic, the founder of AMVIV--and we chatted for quite awhile.
I wish I had taken more pix, but I was mostly stranded at my booth---really wished I had pictures of me in action--but this is pretty much all I got. Gnatsters beautiful MINI after I polished it.

ooooooooooooooh awesome!! These really show off the roof--this began all scratched and swirled out---these pix really show off how reflective it became (not to mention how grey I'm getting, lol). Thanks!!!!

Just to let everyone know, myself and Morten and our MINIs made it home safe just now. Encountered 3(!) separate snowstorms today (on summer wheels no less). Bit of a stress inducer.
