Got home around 4:30. (PST)
Will process pics later. Left the MacBook Pro at work so just browsing using the BlackBook.
It was definitely a great time. Can't wait to see y'all at MTTS here in L.A.

Made Pocatello around 7 tonight, despite mother nature throwing a freezing rain blizzard at us in southern Utah. Hopefully all that came that way are OK. Hope to be home sometime Monday night.
An extra thanks to the guys who led all the runs for us! We enjoyed every minute of them!

We hung about a bit on Saturday, did the run to the mountain and the nelsons landing run, before finally getting back to SoCal at about 8.45pm Sunday. 858 miles, 16 hours of driving pilot and copilot thoroughly tired.
Thanks to all who organised, participated and contributed - what a fantastic weekend
Photos to follow.
Just got home.(SF Bay Area)
What a great time! I'll be going through photos and posting a link soon.
Thanks to Agro and ALL at Sin City Minis for putting on a great event.
Sorry to hear about the FJ grafitti.....Low Class!!

Huge HUGE thanks to the Sin City Minis and Agro for putting together such a large and smooth running event.
My summary for AMVIV 5: great drives, little sleep, a lot to drink(not before driving), met some cool people, had tons of fun. And that's also my plan for next year.
Also to everyone I met, thanks for making me feel welcome and included even though we didn't know each other. I think that is one of the best attributes of this community, no matter who you are or where you come from you are welcomed. I look forward to seeing you all again next year.
By the way I was the quiet guy, usually wearing the ratty looking driving cap, ...from the Super Secret Club.

We're from Prescott, AZ. Our first event like this, and hats off to Sin City Mini. The show at the garage was really cool, when not there we looked out the window of our room and could see the whole thing really well. Death Valley run was great. Watched Way Motorworks dudes attack a rear asb. Yikes. They had the thing off in under 10 minutes (wheels, coilover, subframe loosened, old bar out, new one in, bushings on). Like a pit crew! We were amazed at all the cool cars there (she even bought a silver Mini pendant). Missed dinner in favor of Joss Stone at the Hardrock (oh well). I'll be watching for pix now..........
THANKS TO SIN CITY MINI !!!
It was another GREAT AMVIV.
Big thanks to those wo came by our booth ...It was fun talking to you.
Also a BIG thanks to the other vendors who welcomed us into that section of the community as well.

Big THANKS to SCMC for another great event. Lots of good times, and enough sun to last me for a while..... well, maybe not quite..
MANY THANKS TO ALL !! Our whole family had a blast !!

This was our first and my wife had such a blast that we are now on the look out for a mini for her ...... oh my god !!
Many thanks to the vendors, it was absolutely refreshing to be around vendors that treated you as a family member
I work with many vendors daily and hate the stuffy attitudes they have that you have to humor
A special thanks to the vendors that where so generous to our kids. Have not seen that kind of attitude in years
The amount of friendship and kindness from all was outstanding. I have not chatted with so many mini owners are lights and traffic so much since I was in Europe last.
See you all next year, will not miss it !
Cheers,
Roberto

i was the platinum blonde MININUT gal at the banquet...
We came down for Saturday on Becky's flight benefits, and had a great time..... until we tried to leave.
Got to meet Mike & Donna, Andrew (Agro), Emily and Tuls, Matt (Dr. Obnoxs), SDMike (Tigs was praying to the porcelain god), Blair, and others I cannot remember clearly in my state of semi-exhaustion.
Becky called her folks who live in Pahrump, surprised them, and they came over for lunch. They're Corvette people, but were suitably impressed with the turnout (The Mt Charleston tour was in progress).
Leaving got a tad sticky. The flight we were supposed to make on Saturday evening to go home, that was "wide open," slammed shut. We tried several flights, and no go. We could get nothing to anywhere in northern CA. I called Mike from the airport about midnight (five hours after our first flight left), who passed the word around. Brian (70spop) called me back on my dying cell phone, and offered some floor space in his room for us, and a ride home the next day (that day, really), since he was flying solo, and had to drive right past our place on his way home. Give the Man the Motoring Medal of Honor. The Gold Mini Award.
