Just wanted to make a quick post to say thank you yet again to Agro and SCMC for a great time. Since this was my first large MINI event, it will be the one that all others are measured against.
Writing this from Page, AZ on my continuing road trip - it has been beautiful.
PS: I saw "DBCOOPER" in the Grand Canyon South Rim parking lot around 4pm yesterday (Tues) so I guess I'm not the only one making a post-AMVIV scenic tour.

wow this year was a blast! It was so good to see everyone! And of course thanks to Agro & the rest of the organizers who made this possible and an uber dee doober thanks to those who made it possuible for Tüls & I to go. We didn't think it would happen but with enough support our hopes came true.
I've had a bit of wine this evening so I'm trying to refrain from too much mushiness but I'm soooo glad we made it. Can't wait until next year!

I just checked out the video camera, and the footage that I took with my big-**** window camera mount turned out very good. I've got just about all the Route 66, RedRock and strip cruise runs in 1080i widescreen. If there is any interest, I can look into possibly converting some of it onto Youtube. LMK.

I store my peps for 1 year then roast them over a fire !!!

I might have to disagree. Non MINI related, but this is probably the best use of peeps evar. It could still work on the roof of a car, using the antenna still.

Back to the topic at hand though, another huge thanks to everyone that made this event possible. We brought some non MINI driving friends with us and before the weekend was over they'd built a car on miniusa.com and want to come back next year. That should tell you how great AMVIV is, and how well AMVIV will continue to grow. Next year let's shoot for 700 cars eh?

Ok--so at AMVIV I was supposed to be demoing a new product I'm carrying--and one lucky person won one to take home--however the product got lost during shipping to me...so I had nothing to demo.
However they have now arrived at my shop, and I've taken some pictures of the prize. My first impression is that it's awesome! I'll have action shots in a bit when the battery is charged.
It's a portable 18Volt pressure washer for travelling MINI owners or apartment dwellers without access to water! Just fill the tank with 3 gallons of water (distilled for spotfree water) and enjoy!
