This is what I would do. Put the performance tires on for AMVIV and leave earlier than you planed to give yourself time to be extra carefull through any bad weather along the way. We all have driven in the snow or bad weather at one point or another with the wrong tires so it can be done if you keep yourself aware of it.

Seriously, I am getting SO EXCITED!
This weekend I will start packing (perhaps underpants, perhaps not 
) and hopefully clean up Malibu Stacy's interior a little bit.13 more sleeps until we depart! W00T!

AMVIV I was very memorable - we had a "parking area" roped off in the back parking lot, it was at the end of Feb and the weather was terrible, and we had close to 200 extremely enthusiastic MINI owners who had a very unique car!

I remember that cold wind during the "meet" at the park, where we took over the parking lot. Some crazy guy (Randy) had someones engine 1/2 out of the car and was doing something to the pulley.
