Agro,

If people want to buy some MINI/Mini photo postcards of mine while at AMVIV, do I need to sign up as a vendor?
I don't want a table or anything like that.

Qwik Bail Bonds 702-382-8013
Acme Bail Bonds 702-382-5245
Jackpot Bail Bonds 702-368-2245
Bad Bot Bail Bonds 702-364-2245

Hey Agro, I have a question about Nevada license plate laws. I read online that it's required that Nevada residents have both front and back plates. Though I know that some states don't require both. What would Nevada police say or do about out of state cars which don't have both plates? Have there been problems in past years with any of the out of state folks traveling to AMVIV?

I merely ask because of the popularity of Euro plates; I've got one myself, though Colorado law states that I can't wear it here.

Nevada for some reason is fairly tourist friendly.
The state law says that if you have somewhere to mount a front plate, you have to mount it. If you don't (like if you avoided getting your front bumper drilled), you don't have to. That's why I have no front plate.
I don't know if the cops here keep track of which states require a front plate and which don't, but I've never heard of an out of state car being pulled over for not running a front plate.
There are also lots of cars running around with window tints way darker than is legal, and I've never heard of anyone being pulled over for that. It does make a convenient extra charge if someone gets pulled over and pisses off the cop though.

Juan...we prefer actual vendors to have vendor spots. If you are fundraising for a club, go right ahead. If you can find a friendly, already signed up vendor who would share their space with you, that's fine by us too.

Thanks for the info Agro. I'll bring my euro plate along, but maybe install it for the weekend only. Maybe.

Sweet my car isn't drilled for a front plate (may still be driving on a Wisconsin temp tag anyway)

Any laws on the number of lights that can be shining off the front of a mini?
IL says 4 total on any car so these will be switched as pairs and not tied to the headlights jic. I would like to use them all for the roads at night and the strip cruise.

Allblack, I dunno about the laws for front lights, but too many lights (especially if they aren't aligned perfectly) can really **** people off.

I think most states have that 4 forward facing lights... that is why your fogs go off when you turn your high beams on...

Canada is the same, but I have 4 PIAA's on mine.. never had any issues, though I only use them for the concessions late at night, up here in the boonies...

yeah I figured as much. I primarily have them because I live in an area where I'm shocked to NOT see deer standing in the road on the way home from work. My Xenons are nice but I'd rather light up the road further out. I actually am off to properly align them now.

NRS 484.591 Number and intensity of lamps on front of vehicle.
1. At all times specified in NRS 484.545, a lighted head lamp or head lamps meeting the requirements of NRS 484.549 shall be displayed on a motor vehicle except when the vehicle is parked.

Juan,

You're welcome to come sell your cards at my vendor spot if you want.
