Thinking of doing the Death Valley run and lunch and afternoon out at the track on Friday.

We are looking for a MINI transport to carry the MINIs Motoring Against Cancer banner to AMVIV.

The banner is currently in Minneapolis, MN with 'SotaMINIs.

I was looking at the AMVIV attendees list, and I see three possibilities. I see attendees from CO, IL, and NE. Is anyone from Chicago, Denver, or Omaha interested in hosting the banner before AMVIV? If so, we could arrange a swap. The banner could then travel to AMVIV with the club members attending. This would be much preferred to mailing it.

If nobody wants to host another event before AMVIV, I was thinking I could hook up with some of the Chicago contingent at they trek west.

Our event will be on Saturday, March 1st. I am open to shuttling the banner on Sunday, March 2nd.

Don, the Death Valley Run is scheduled to end at the track in time for lunch and to watch the NAMCC race.

 

Not a club member yet but if anyone from Chicagoland Mini Motoring Club wants to take the banner I would be honored to drive it to AMVIV. (As well as participate in any charity event put together before hand.)

 

Hey if anyone is interested, I just canclled a garden room under the MINI rate, I needed a tower room because I smoke so if you call now I bet you can get that room.

 

Our club (PSMINI.org) in the Pacific NW would be proud to bring the banner back from AMVIV to the Seattle area if someone can help us figure out how to get back east in time for the Dragon. We could hand it off to someone in the Portland Club and they in turn might be able to hand it off to someone in CA and if someone down there is headed to the Dragon, if might work. Any takers?

I got the iPod DICE fitted in my MINI over the weekend, so I'm just about ready.

13 hour drive to SLC on the first day, and then down to Vegas with the SLC/Utah bunch on the second day.
