Xiek...coffee crisp I don't know anything aboot. Dark Flake sounds interesting, but I miss REAL Flakes. Aeros I can find here, and Crunchie is good but not as good as Violet Crumble which I don't know if you have there.

I once drove through what I think was a locust swarm on I-80 at night as I approached Omaha. I didn't dare use the wipers for fear of making visibility worse, so, I exited at the first offramp to scrape the suckers off the windshield.

It was the first bugstorm I had ever experienced so far from home.

 

We'll have to post up clean when we are leaving pics so nobody cheats

It won't stop raining here, so I won't have many bugs but I can't get the Mini washed until I get there. at least I have all day Wednesday to do that

I'll be looking for a few of bags of "Bobs Sweet Stripes" Peppermints. I got a bag from a Secret Santa from the US and cannot find them up here. She said she got the at Tractor Supply??? Any chance you can find me some?

Woops guess I should have logged in as me and not hubby

 

I occasionally see Tractor Supply ads on TV, but there are none in Vegas. I think they must have them in the LA area. I'll have a look around if I get a chance to hit a store between now and AMVIV.

 

I checked with Tractor Supply and they said they do not carry them, but maybe their seasonal. Only at the holidays. They have some other types called soft peppermint, if that will do let me know.

How many boxes fit in a MINI?

 

I looked for the Violet Crumble... the guy that gets weird sh&% up here, never heard of them.. where did you get them? and do you know who makes them?

 

We have a British Candy shoppe at a mall nearby that imports directly from the UK. I'll have a look for Violet Crumble there this weekend.

 

I went to our local british importer.. he never heard of it.

Nestle of Australia makes Violet Crumbles and I have seen them around from time to time. I'll keep my eyes open. Also, Farleys bought the Bob's label and we saw Bob's candy canes, etc. at Christmas around here, so I'll look for some of the Sweet Stripes. Both are on Amazon stores, but shipping is not cheap.
