Midnight on the Dragon II (5/7/05)

gonna run the Dragon at midnight on (Sat) 5/7/05

we'll meet at Fontana Village's General Store parking lot at 11:00p (Saturday night)
pull out of there at 11:15p zip down 28
and meet everyone else at the Cross Roads of Time gas station at Deals Gap (on the Dragon) at 11:45p
Cross Roads of Time gas sation is where 28 meets 129 (The Dragon)
and we do the Dragon at Midnight
take a break at the gravel parking lot on the other side by Tabcat bridge, then run back (i'll be last kar out on the return trip, again...to make sure all is well)

i figured that i would post this now since the subject came up yesterday
btw: do you guys think we should come up with a better name for the Midnight run?
also: night time glowing thingy's are encouraged

Midnight on the Dragon II is a great name, kool! Let's keep it! I like the whole plan, and I hope you can find those blue glowy things for the antennaes! They were fun!

Count me in!

No it'll take Koolmini about a minute and a half to go that far....

However to get the entire train of 50 some odd vehicles down there will probably take a while...

We better bring our own sign letters this year as the kind owners of the Crossroads of Time may have theirs locked up that night.

It was taken down in July. We'd have to bring our own sign if we were going to do that again!

Do you mean the sperm, as Mr. Minzilla called them???? I'm sure I've seen photos of a few of them....they were a great addition --- I'm told, as I was unable to ride the Midnight Run....since people tend to frown on leaving small children locked in the bathroom all night. But alas, this year --- if I'm awake at that late hour --- I'll be able to attend, as I'm bringing with me ..... Grandparents!!! Yippie! So, now to try to stay awake at that hour....way past my bedtime.

Hugs,
PB

I'll be able to make it this time since I graduated form Kent State, no more college to get in the way!

Remember everyone, the dragon is dangerous! My parents already told me I can't go back (like that'll stop me, I'm 23...)....

BE CAREFUL!

i'm still looking (waiting) for that photo from the Midnight Dragon Run last year (2004)

the photo at the Gravel parking lot with the bonnets up & headlights on (facing the rock wall)
it was taken with a slow shutter speed and looked real kool on the dude's digital camera display
if anybody has a copy of this picture please PM me
