The problem is flash for the system is tied to the car for the after install procedure. The early F60 JCW had the kit and tied to the car, but again no tune for the JCW cars (HP Flash). So its just a valvetronic exhaust (two tone).
Due to epa regulations the JCW F60 does not have a kit for 2020+ even though the -2019 Kits will physically fit. Its up to the MINI dealer if they want to install/flash.
So you can have it installed and then try to have a shop find a work around on the flash.
I was at SEMA and took some pictures when this launched, this is when MINI was still at SEMA displaying their new JCW Tuning Kit systems. This was a couple years back and the last year they were there.
BMW group and MINI does not show at SEMA anymore :(
You are always so helpful ECS, im not sure what this flash is, mostly i jus want something that doesn't stick out so ugly, if its not flashed will that be an issue?
Just have to make sure the valvetronic function works. If the dealership installs it and they pull up your vin, MINI will not let them flash to code anything. You might be bale to install yourself/local shopand then just get the valvetronic to function with remote. I dont know if the com box (black box included) will be ok on the wiring for the F60 JCW post 2020+. All the info is in that thread i have. I know people got the F56 JCW one to work on post 2020+ as those models are in the same boat you are.
Glad to help. I have the most info on these JCW tuning kits, MINI just got their hands tied on new EPA regulations for the USA and it cut off the kit development past 2020 for some models.
If not flashed or the controller switch FOB is not done its might not function on/off. But could be zip tied open anyway after install.
What some people did is installed and then hooked up their own Vacuum system to function the valve.
Yep they valved it, last time i heard one on youtube it was not near as aggressive as the JCW tuning kit counterpart. So they made a factory one due to epa on the JCW tuning kits not i dealer installed option.
Yep thats mean MINI must have made stock valved systems for JCW models in F60 2023+ , my guess is for the JCW F54 also 2023+ I have not seen one on the Cooper S stock or the F56 platform stock.

Ah ok so its new for the 2023 model, ok so in theory do you think it would retro fit?
The hangers are in the same place, and as it has a flap control from the ECU it wouldn't need an ECU flash, all you need to do is split the original connection to go to 2 valves/flaps rather than one right? of course the Blue tooth control wouldn't work but you don't need it too as the flaps would be opened by going in to sport mode as it currently does with the one flap.
Yes, physically should be the same. I bet you might be able to tap those wires for the factory valvetronic and then just use MINIs set up. But then you loose the on/off of that switch that comes with it.
No body has done this but i think you are on to something.
Im not bothered about the bluetooth on/off control as long as it controlled but the toggling in to sport mode. I'm speaking to someone in the US who's looking in to do it too, and i found a video of someone who did it to a 2020 300hp clubman.
This system added to a factory JCW only makes sense if you can tie the two valves together into the "Sport" mode button. Forget the added Bluetooth controllers....
I had a 19 pre LCI with the JCW tune kit, programming and exhaust with the dual valves. When I bought my 24 F60 JCW I took the exhaust and it bolts right up! (With some cutting and a new clamp)
I also took the Bluetooth module and fit it in the same spot the pre LCI goes. Works great! And sounds awesome. It’s a much deeper tone with the B48N than the regular B46.
I have one valve hooked up to the factory wiring (drivers side that opens up in sport mode) and the passenger side valve on the Bluetooth remote. So I get 3 levels of sound, closed for daily cruising, one side open on the Bluetooth when I’m feeling spirited, (passenger side valve). the piping on the passenger side is a bit longer than the drivers side, but still sounds good with one valve open. But in sport mode both are open and it ROARS! I love it!
if u want to tie both valves together for the sport mode button you have to tie into and run wires from the drivers side factory connector to passenger side valve. It’s possible but I like my 3 stage setup the best
no programming involved just hardware and wiring.

Am I understanding correctly? The 2019 JWC exhaust, with two flaps, is louder than the newer stock B48 JWC exhaust, with the single flap?
I have a 2022 JCW and I would like the exhaust a bit louder.
You had both exhausts on a newer JCW and the older one is louder?
I've not seen a comparison with aftermarket and the newer JCW exhaust. But plenty with the older JCW exhaust.

If you look at the exhaust, you'll see why the JCW Pro exhaust with the two flaps is louder. When the flaps are open, it fully bypasses the muffler. Whereas the factory JCW exhaust with the single flap still sends some exhaust flow through the muffler, just not as much as when its closed.
