60th Anniversary Edition JCW - pro exhaust?

just picked up my 5th mini jcw
this thing is fun but wow so quiet after my older ones. Anyone knows if jcw pro exhaust would work with 2022 jcw?

Some have had success installing it with the 2021 MINI GP. I would run this by your MINI dealer before purchasing. There are alternatives (REMUS) at the same cost or slightly less. Check Outmotoring.com.

Yep, think you contacted us before. Nice F56 JCW!!
Its the tune/flash at the dealer level for 2022+ from what we have seen. Some dealers will not do the flash tune on a Cooper S/JCW 2022+. Something with the load file taking the newer vin for epa reasons of something. The JCW its just the fob flash, but some dealers have reported they could not do them, even though physically the 2020+ system version fit, So fingers crossed they can do the flash. Maybe MINI finally updated their system.

If they can’t do it is there a remus option you could recommend? And who would install remus in Orange County?

This from the REMUS website. I am sure there are suppliers cheaper out there. I'd make note of the parts and hit Outmotoring, ECS Tuning, etc.

appreciate the response... lets see what they say on monday...
I need to figure out what tires i need to get as well. The runflats are horrible and so skinny. Not sure if i should get spacers or just get new tires 225-40-18
I am not going to lower the car - i lowered my previous minis and even though i love the look i am the only one in the family who can drive it like that

TireRack have a decent selection of wheels and tyres. On my 2016 JCW I had 225/40R 18 Pirellis and Michelins. Both are good tyre options. Pirellis are cheaper with decent grip, but the Michelins had better grip and lasted longer.

tried 225/40/18s yesterday falkens and they did not fit... super close to suspension. I ordered 15mm spacers for front and rear... i cant stand the runflats...

Mostly the offset on the wheels you have. I ordered both wheels and tyres on my 2016 JCW. Didn't need the spacers. I also had the JCW Pro Coil overs so there may have been additional space created due their size.

Can you post some pics of the wheels with spacers, like head-on, and directly behind? I'm stepping up to 225 width tires soon & will add 10 mm spacers all around. Just wondering what your stance looks like, if there's much poke or not. I've seen one set of pics elsewhere but would love to see your results too.

Did you purchase the pro exhaust from dealership? I contacted my local dealer, and they said it’s not in stock.

Does you car make backfiring pops after installing pro exhaust? I just got it installed in dealership, but it still doesn't make any pops.

MINI removed the feature due to the OPF being fitted in Europe.

Yup, pops will burn out the OPF, also removing pos lowers emissions.

Please everyone, do not blame it on CARB, or the EPA, European emissions standards are tougher than US.
You won't see an ICE in a a new car in the EU after 2035.
