I think it's supposed to look like a bare bulb hanging from the ceiling? The bulb symbol on the dash lights wheel is the same orientation so it must be intentional.

I'm not sure why you think it is upside down. Is alcohol involved in your process? If they flipped it you would have an upside down "A".

Seems to be in the correct orientation to me. In comparison to what are you judging it to be upside down?

He doesn't think the entire gauge should be flipped - just the symbol on the ****. Are you browsing the internet while consuming alcohol?

I would say that the 'normal' orientation of a light bulb symbol (in everyday use) is the opposite of what is depicted. Do a Google image search for "Light Bulb Symbol" and you'll see what I mean. That being said, I'm not sure what the normal orientation is on a car ...

A light bulb hanging down from a ceiling fixture would have that orientation. The bulb icon over the dimmer is also the same orientation.

I guess I thought the symbol should be like this ? ?

Emojis don't post. Grr. Find your lightbulb emoji, and you'll see.
