Is my tow hook mount upside down?

I just got my car back from the body shop after a front end hit.. and was about to put on the Craven plate holder (new bumper.. no drill holes!)

But this doesnt look right to me?! Does the plate really mount like this? It sticks out very far on the passenger side.

Nope, doesn't look right to me, either.

I have one of those no-holes plate brackets on one of the MINIs and it's ALMOST parallel to the front bumper... not at a severe angle like that.

Appears the shop has your female bolt assembly installed incorrectly.

You cant install the tow hook receptacle incorrectly.

Its welded to the bumper support and comes that way when you buy the support. If anything, they didn't replace the support and something is still bent.

I don't have any shots of mine looking straight down like the angles you posted above. But here's a couple of shots to verify mine is pretty much parallel to the bumper:

Agreed, something is bent. Your "tow hook" should come out straight. I don't think the body shop replaced or staightend your bumper.

+1 on most of the posts. The tow hook bolt should be pointing straight forward. Something is bent or not mounted the right way behind the bumper skin.
