Get Akebono pads. Almost same as stock stopping power, MUCH lower dust levels, and wallet friendly. Then add the least expensive coated rotors for the full package.

I bought this complete assembled brake kit from ECS and it took about 3 hours to install with my daughter.

I bought that kit for my daughters 2014 R60 and it worked out great. Came with replacement sensors and all. Was able to get it done fairly quickly with my sons help. Everything was there and fit well and happy with the results. Decided to replace the brake fluid at that time as well.

Torque specs for an R56 which should be close to what you need. Sorry everything is in Nm here a converter https://www.convertunits.com/from/N-m/to/lb-ft

Im stuck cannot remove rear caliper bracket

did front break no issues , but…. The rear ??

Im stuck i dont know what kind of bolt that holds rear caliper bracket, looks like a male torx ? Base on what ive search its called e-torx ?? Does anyone know the size i need to remove the caliper bracket to replace the break disc ?

One site i looked says size 14mm etorx ? Is this the same size for the r60?

Yes, you need the e-torx and I can't recall what the mm size it was, probably 14mm sounds about right. I went to harbor freight and got a set that worked fine. And, the bolt is on there tight. I also needed the special tool to thread the piston back in while applying pressure (different than the front) due to the e-brake.

I got Zimmerman rotors and Bowa wear sensors from FCP Euro because of the total cost including shipping. But got EBC Redstuff pads from Mini Mania. Happy with the outcome

We now have Brembo Sensors/Rotors/Pads built out for MINI. They are hard to find in the Gen 2-Gen3 MINIs as most distributors in the USA don't carry them. Also have R1 Concepts also just added.

Im Pretty sure i was able to use a regular 16mm on the etorx, this was on a 2014 R60s all4 and we used the power stop setup you are talking about.
