2016 JCW Countryman Issues

Hey all,

Just received my JCW Countryman today and was disappointed that there was no popping and burbling. Does it need to be broken in before it starts? My 2013 Countryman S did it all the time and now with the new car... Nothing. Also, I ordered a Megan Racing strut tower bar and realized it won't fit because of the large rubber gasket that seems to surround the engine. Any advice?

A little bit about my new JCW...

Crystal silver body
Black top
Steptronic auto
Piano black exterior
Cold weather package
Fully loaded package
Navigation package
Wired package
19" wheels
Alarm
Flat load floor

Will post pictures as soon as I figure out how.

Thanks in advance.

On my '14, mine has to be in the "sport" mode to burble.

Congrats on the new ride!

And it was in the sport mode... I love the change as far as everything else. Just not the sound like my other Countryman S.

Should pop in sport mode on the JCW all the time , also on the JCW its will pop somewhat when driven hard and high in the revs.

Let me know if you need anything else.
