wheel fitment

Hey everyone, I'm looking to do new wheels and tires, and I want to go for the "flush" look. I was looking at going 16X8 et35 with a 225/40/16 tire and I just want to make sure that I'm not going to have any clearance issues or rubbing.

I don't have any wheels in mind yet so suggestions on that are appreciated as well.

Those wheels are a bit wide. And if you want to do the flush look all the way around I'd say at least 17s.

These are 17s with a drop and a 205/40 tire.

225/40-16 are 5.3% shorter than stock size ... too much

Tire choices with widths more than 205 for 16" wheels will be very limited.
