JCW GP2 Steering Wheel (Thick)

Category: Interior
Price: $400
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60
Location (Region): West
Item Condition: Used

Up for sale is my GP2 steering wheel freshly removed from my R55. This is the thickest official MINI steering wheel that you can buy that I'm aware of. It has the leather + red stitching as well. My understanding is this will not work on the automatic transmission equipped MINI, but buyer can use their own discretion. Below is a link to the ECS page for the steering wheel which has more technical information;

https://www.ecstuning.com/News/MINI_...014/ES2711063/

This was installed and removed by my local MINI dealership, so everything is still in perfect working order. I did have them swap the blank plates for the multi-function buttons from my stock steering wheel, but those were swapped back onto the stock steering wheel when removed after I traded in my R55 last week.

It's a great steering wheel and the thicker padding is extremely nice in comparison to the thinner stock wheel.

Leather was treated on a weekly basis, and is still in great condition, no scratches, gouges, or otherwise damage that I can spot or feel.

SOLD

If you want anymore photos or have question just let me know I'd be happy to answer or take as many picture as you'd like.

Thanks

Have this same wheel in our Clubman. It really makes a difference. Steering wheel is something that you interact with every time you drive.

FWIW, this wheel is compatable with automatic cars too. If you have paddle shifters, they will have to be removed and you will need to use a wiring harness (the one inside the wheel) from a manual transmission car. That's what I did and it all works fine (see below).

GLWS!

Thanks! I loved this wheel for the year it was installed, I wish the wheel in the F56 was half as good.

Price lowered as well - someone please take this from me!

Any takers? I'm open to offers. I love this wheel but it kills me to see it going un-used sitting in our home office. My wife will only let me pretend to be a race car so many times before she'll make me give it away

ha I understand completely but for that I think I'll just keep pretending I'm a race car at my office.
