My dash parts shipped roughly 3 weeks early. They had 1 of the parts in stock but held off shipping until all where in.

I'm swapping out my 2011/2012 air vents/mickey for the 2013 version that is much less obtrusive. There is a thread about it with pictures here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=243440

I don't see the R60 2013 on Sewell Parts. Does the 2013 Paceman use the same pieces?

As far as the front dash and center console, yes.

Just received an email from my parts mgr....everything is in...

Fred,

Friday afternoon I received the last piece of the order for the center console. I have the center piece with the cup holders, the trim for the shifter and the inserts for the cup holders.

As far as a rear cargo box/rack I have not heard of such a beast. The only thing I now of hooking into the two tow hooks on the rear is the bike rack. I will keep my ears open about it though.

Thank you,

If memory services me right…it was not much of a deal...I've had the console and cups holders out to do the carbon fiber hyrdographics a few years back…..at this point i'll just replace it with the updated console in black….

just finished change out my cup holder, it took me 15mins to compete it.. most of the time I used on removeing the charger cover ( the orange thing ) from the cup holder....

I used my old ashtray as a coin holder and put it in the old cup holder..
so now I have a question for any 2013 owner.... does the 2013 come with ashtray that fits into the bigger cup holder? ??

Also the Shifter Trim Ring (51-16-9-810-002) that OP posted is in BLACK color not grey if anyone care..

Yeah I don't think they make the grey any more.

They use the same ashtray, only now it comes with a silver adapter ring to fit into the bigger cup holder. I believe for the next year they will be coming out with the grey shifter ring again because that what it shows on MINI's Configurator.

Picked up my parts today for the larger cup upgrade install.........

Center Trim Panel (51-16-9-811-185) $27.48
Shifter Trim Ring (51-16-9-810-002) $14.34
Cup Holder Rubber Disc Inserts (51-16-9-811-184) $5.69 each

Ofcourse I should of looked a bit closer before dis-assembling
Center Trim Panel, Part # (51-16-9-811-185 is for a non-nav. console....

Oh well, did a bit of house cleaning while everything was apart
I believe the correct part # for the center console with connected/Nav.
(Joy Stick) is 51-16-9-811-186, but I will confirm that with parts tomorrow..

Other than that it fit like a glove...the cup holders are noticeable larger without the spring like clips of the older style, but with new bendable rubber tabs...

By chance anyone install a center console with the connected/Nav. Joy Stick...

Got mine today and 15 mins later it was in nice and snug!!

Have to say its the single best mod I have ever done to just about any car I have owned. Not only does my Klean Kanteen fit, which isn't really even that wide at all, but also my BIG SIGG (1.5L) water bottle and my sons Camelbak water bottle (those two are pretty wide).

Original:

SIGG:

Camelbak:

Don't have a pic of the Klean Kanteen, but it is smaller in diameter then the two pictured.

I really like the dark ring as well. Really makes me want to change out the Mickey and the air vents

How is the clearance with the seat heaters? That seems to be my biggest problem. I put a 32 or 44oz drink in there and it inevitably turns on the seat heater. Not a problem when i don't have a passenger, but the wife gets a little mad when I keep warming her buns.

Bummer! I'm surprised your parts guys didn't confirm with you before he ordered. I looked it up and according to SEWELL, it seems the the correct part number is indeed the new one you indicated. Best of luck though.

Better then the original ones. They are slightly to the side and don't press against them at all. I can snap a pic from the side tomorrow.

If you have Connected, would you show a top-down view from sunroof height?

Thx!

I ordered the set of parts from BavAuto 6 weeks ago. I've been waiting patiently but asked them for the status update yesterday which resulted in them shipping out everything but the shifter trim ring today. Wondering why they're having an issue getting that part since that doesn't seem to be the trouble one for some of the other people here.

I was informed by my parts mgr that correct center console for those with Nav. ending 186..Not 185 ...will ship from Germany early August with a ETA to Ct around 8/24.
Meanwhile the arrival the new black trim ring for the shifter now completes my countrymans facelift/makeover

At Sewell, the trim ring is the only thing they have in stock for my order.
