4 1/2 hour wash today. Just finished.
After that long I'm very tired but the car looks in my opinion the best it ever has. First i washed the car in Chemical Guys HoneyDew Snow Foam, Awesome soap one of the best I've ever used. After it was washed dried the whole car first with the leaf blower then my trusty waffle weave towel. After the wash step cam time for some paint correction, with help from my porter cable and some phenomenal products from Menzerna Micro polish(orange lake country pad, twice over every panel) followed by the power lock polymer sealant(Black Lake country pad going on, Blue LC to take it off). That was close to 2 1/2 hours of work. Next comes all the plastics on the interior and exterior with 303, a ton of rubbing with 303. After the plastics are done all 4 seats will get a generous coat of Poorboys world natural look leather cleaner/conditioner. The key is to let it sit on the sits for a while and it makes the leather very soft and also has a nice scent. Next comes taking out the mats and vacuuming them and then the actual car. Then we will head to the engine bay for a through cleaning, looks very nice. Time for wheels, tires and exhaust tips. I wipe down the wheels with a damp towel and then make sure they are nice and dry and apply 3 coats of poor boys wheel sealant one after the next on all 4 wheels. The tire i use zaino tire shine with y truth sponge then wipe off the excess with an old microfiber towel(so i don't trash my newer ones). All the exhaust times need is a nice wipe down inside and out as i already washed them when washing the car. Finally, just a final dust off with a very plush microfiber towel and I'm finished! I will post some pics tomorrow as it is dark out now. All products, thanks to Detailed Image!

No I shouldn't I've spent 8 hours on my S5 several times.
Actually I wasn't the one that did it... I took all the credit. My 15 year old son did it and it looks awesome! He actually detailed the car before the !NUF car show at MITM. Why I say that is the car won first! But a professional detail is somewhere in the 500ish depending on who does it. So u would say like 300$ I don't really know.

I mean I give the car a final wipe down afterward and I don't seem to contaminate anything its just the order I went it that night it differs from time to time...
As I said, just a helpful suggestion from an amateur detailer/professional obsessive-compulsive. Wheel cleaners and engine bay cleaners remove wax, so if you miss and get some on your freshly waxed panel/bumper/whatever, you have to re-wax. So it stands to reason that you should do the dirty parts first. Any professional detailer will tell you the same.
Thanks man! I feel like this is about the best its gonna get. But I still need to the get out a couple marks here and there. But this is a very very hard color I've noticed. The garage is my favorite room in the house!
Like OctaneGuy (pro detailer and long-time board member) recently told me in another thread.... you shouldn't try to polish out every mark in the point. You use a pad/Polish capable of doing that and you will likely cut right thru the clearcoat.
Exactly.
And we are always more critical of the paint's condition than anyone looking at our MINI and look a lot more closely than anyone else. I used to hate even having
a few minor swirls but I've learned to live with those.

Believe me I have too. But my S5 was a showroom kept car the car came with only few minor swirls and there a literally none on the car. But my MINI was a lot kept car so it got filthy then got wipe off with out a wash so it had so many swirls it was unbelievable. But I'm happy the way it looks now so I think I will just leave it.
