LOVE the blackjack accents! Want the rear view mirror cover for mine but they don't have one for the garage door buttons!

Washed them

Got the windows tinted, put led bulbs in front turn signals and all the bulbs in the taillights, and moved the bluetooth mic to the left side. It was raining all day, so hopefully I can get some good pics once I get it cleaned back up and it's nice out.

Rotated the tires. Move real license plate to the tow hook spot and added euro plate. I also washed it because it rained and will be sunny again next week.

Technically I should have posted some of this yesterday but:

I washed and busted out the dual action polisher for a quick once-over on the horizontal surfaces. At some point I'll do the sides and bumpers, but for now... this is fine. Then I wiped on a layer of paint sealant and followed it up with a spray wax. The paint is smooth. Like shockingly smooth. There are no swirls anywhere on the polished surfaces.

I used Optimum Poli-Seal, Opti-Seal, and Car Wax.

but technically TODAY:

I spent a little time cleaning the seats and dash. Wiped them all down and then laid down a coat of interior sealant. It looks good. Products inside were Optimum Power Clean and CarPro PERL Coat. Armor-All will never ever touch this vehicle while my name is on the title or so help me...!!

Sorry, no pics of the interior. Just picture your CM the day you got it. Clean, smooth, no greasy feeling.

Our CMS4 spent a couple days with MINI of Portland, OR. - time for the first oil change at 9000 miles (MINI claims once every 15000 using the synthetic) but I couldn't bring myself to wait that long and will change every 6 months. While at the dealers the coolant temp sensor was replaced due to a recall. They also found an oil leak that came from a leaking oil pump control solenoid seal - I don't know what that is for sure but they did and it was replaced along with the engine wiring harness that was contaminated by the leaking oil - really happy that this happened while under warranty.
While our White with black hat Countryman was in the shop they loaned us another new Countryman to drive but this was an oppossite of ours - Black with a white hat. I can not say enough good things for MINI of Portland, they are fantastic people to work with.
With all that fresh oil and new parts it was time for a little drive and a great hamburger.

Learned to watch curbs when I had my R56 slammed on V-Maxx's a few years ago, always cautious

Looks great. Did you install the control arms as well when you did it?

They are Flo-Pro part# ST052 ,Stainless Steel angle cut double layer rolled. The specs on their website say they are a 2-1/4" inlet, but they measure closer to 2-1/2". We had to slot the inlet side and squish it down to 2" and we tig welded it all up with stainless rod to keep the exhaust all stainless. I dropped the whole exhaust system out so we could weld it up good and make it look nice.

Here's some pics of it in process.

Today was a wash and wax, followed by a visit to the tint shop. Thursday tint is to be installed. I had let slip from my mind just how quick white cars show dirt . 22 days with my MINI and I think full washes almost every 4 days in order to not be filthy, hate to see the water bill

I wouldn't say there is any noticeable change in sound with just changing the tips. Just appearance.
