I've searched ISTA for half an hour trying to find a guide for you without much luck. Here's a graphic of the part replacement.

It looks like it's just two clips on the bottom that need to be pulled out. I hate to say grab it and pull, but that's what it looks like:

Here's another view from behind the bumper - looks like clips to me. You can also remove the lower 'spoiler' / air foil and just unclip the lower ornamental grille from behind.

They look like they just snap into place. I was looking to get them too, so let me know how you get them on.

I am curious as well. Any idea of cost for them? I seem to remeber someone posting about it but can't remeber the post. I think they said you just pull hard on them. I'll ask the dealer tomorrow when I pick up my car.

The OP's link shows them at just under $100 from that sponsor.

If this helps any of you, here are the part numbers for these:

51 11 9 803 941 - Left Chrome
51 11 9 803 942 - Right Chrome

51 11 9 803 939 - Left Black
51 11 9 803 940 - Right Black

You really don't want to know the dealer order cost on these...

I ordered my car with the the CR ones and had the dealer install before I picked up. I'll see if I can get some shots of the removed parts on the shelf in my garage to give you an idea of what's holding it in place. If I recall correctly, it's just a bunch of tabs that snap into place around the perimeter of the duct. Appears that it may just be careful removal by prying with a tool that won't scratch/mar.

I'll be I paid too much for this dealer install to be done...

Here's a big picture from -=gRay rAvEn=- from his marketplace thread. This shows the top clips (they're inverted), so it gives you an idea of where to squeeze from.

Here are the photos from another thread of the original ducts after I removed them doing this mod.

I usually start by pulling at the outside corner of the vent and work around it. You can use a small screwdriver to help you pry around it. Very clean, lost cost, and easy mod.

Brake Duct install

Installed the chrome brake ducts this morning. Took about 5 minutes per side.
I used some plastic door panel tools I had but any thin flat tool would work. Just look at the tabs on the new brake ducts so you'll know where to pry out to release.

Sealy,

Silver bulb replace is easy fix? I think that would look really cool in my CMS.

The sliver bulb part is easy - there's an extensive post about it. However, without the clear lenses, you're still going to have yellow eye.

Yes, I have gone through the silver bulb post but I figured I would ask the "expert". I have clear lenses. Heck, it seems I have every freaking option including the flat load floor that I didn't order.

Thanks for the tips guys on the air ducts, I installed mine this week on my R60. It takes about 5 minutes and no tools, just work a small bit of plastic (like a frequent shopper card) into the groove and gently release the tabs. Do top two first then work around and gently pry out. BTW, Sewell had them for $59.
