Guys i'm trying to retrofit the sport button on my cooper S all 4 (here in italy isn't standard), i need a kind soul to help me figuring out the cable setup...
I need a picture of the connector X14272 in the JBE (Junction Box Electronics):
This is mine, and technically is missing 2 wires in the black part of the connector...
This a pic of the JBE
I need someone to look and tell me if there are 3 cables that go in the black part of the connector... Pleaseeee help me!!!
why would you bother, the sport button makes bugger all difference, it's even harder to detect the changes in steering and throttle response than the sport button made in my Clubman.
So it's located on the passenger side, bottom on the right... You can see a small "door".. By opening it u'll get the fuse box... Now u need to remove the plastic surrounding it... To remove it there are no screw, it's just a pulling thing...
I'll soon post some pics to show you the parts to remove
In your picture (color), where is connector X14272? Also, I'm having trouble correlating between the picture and the B&W figure.
Maybe it will be clear when I have the actual in front of me.
Thanks,
Bill
Yeah, i know... I also had some thinking with just the BW pic, that's because the bw draw is horizontal while in real life the box is vertical
In this picture is the last one on the right bottom... Left near the C-G write, under the RL12...
