Reading articles about MINI Connected, I keep seeing references to Mission Control. Will my MINI Connected Countryman come with Mission Control?

 

Yes it will - the default setting is reportedly "Off", so if you want to play with it, you will first have to turn it on. Report back with your impressions!

It was on the Dream Diva - unloaded in California on the 15th, so hopefully I'll be ringing in the new year in a new Clubman!

 

Very cool, seems like you should see it any day now. Mine gets to port tomorrow. I'm still hopeful I'll see it before the end of the year.

 

I have MINI Connected. I do not see Mission Control anywhere. I don't think its there as of yet.

Mission control isn't part of the app as far as I knew. Isn't it in the MINI Connected software?

I see a USB slot in the glove box...and I know this thing is supposed to have mission control.

How do I load everything up? I was also pretty sure you can change the sounds around.

Can someone tell me what the full deal is with it?

my guess is they removed it in the US version. no option on iphone or in mini connected/nav menu anywhere.

 

So what does the USB port do in the G box?

 

I read it some were is use for uploading new software

 

Map updates and Bluetooth device support updates for sure. System software updates hopefully.

 

Mission control still not available neither in Europe nor USA
