Please allow me to introduce myself, myself…

Hello all,

The wait begins. Put the order in over the weekend for a 2007 MCSC, DS (no stripes), black top and the five spoke bullets. It’s loaded up with packages 1, 2, 3 and 4 (convenience) and has the grey black leatherette. I really like the two tone look of the seats. Also went with the interior chrono package. Production number is in hand but the owner’s lounge still has the wrong car in there.

The car will primarily be used by my gf for her commute but I plan on stretching it’s legs at night and on the weekends. Thinking that after the first or second service we should think about an intake, pulley and exhaust but we’ll see how that one plays out. Having driven Audis (A6, S4, A6 4.2) the value of a warranty is something that I’ll have to think about before going down that road.

I think things will start by looking for a second set of rims that I can throw some dedicated snow tires on since we’re up here in Boston. Other then that we’ll patiently wait our time and hopefully pick up some knowledge here on NAM

Cheers,

Probably can save you a few bucks right away, no pulley necessary since it is not supercharged.

Soft top staying with the supercharger for a couple more years as far as I know. I know mine has one.

You are correct Jonny, verts stay supercharged for a bit longer (til early '09 I think but it has been moved a few times so now I am getting forgetful about the date).

Anywho, welcome to NAM

You can't beat a supercharged cabrio (in my humble opinion). Congratulations and welcome to NAM!

Well, I guess that's one week down a few more to go. Car is scheduled for production. Don't even have the car yet and I've got the winter set up waiting. Went with some 16" Rail Flairs and WinterSport run flats. Alex (tirerack) off of this board helped me through.

Tell me the wait get's easier....

No, the wait doesn't get easier! To make matters worse, they delayed mine a month (there was an error), but all was reconciled with a nice reduction in price. Don't worry; try your best to distract yourself!
