Just saw a post asking about a jeweler.
Just saw a post asking about a jeweler.
I am not a jeweler. But it got me thinking about what we all do. I am a computer consultant, and have been for 26 years. (My front plate should read MID LIFE CRISIS) I am perfectly able and willing to help out my fellow cult members with their computer problems, out of gratitude and because I am toatlly incapable of helping with mod questions.
Anyone else want to offer up what they do?

Im a music producer and dj.
I study Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence in school (graduating this year!)
I teach classes for 'older adults' in Computers.
Seems like NAM is becoming a job now as well... takes up enough of my time!

I'm a Network Admin for an Accounting Firm (we also host Citrix for multiple companies). At 26, I love having the freedom of my position and of course the salary is nice in the computer field
I'm also a musician and studio engineer.. yes i have no time to rest..
So, "hello fellow computer nerds and musicians..."

At 23, I am a finance manager for a dealership that has the following franchises: Bentley, Aston Martin, Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Lotus, Porsche, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Spyker. Needless to say I have my hands full, and I am one of the bad guys, but being around all of these great cars does have its perks. Now all we need to get is BMW/MINI and we would be the greatest dealership in all of the land!!!muah haha...
Looks like I'm the first non-computer careered person to respond (although I'm still a full-fledged, flag-flying nerd). I'm a science and health writer, mostly for magazines although I'm currently working in the communications office of a university.
This is a cool thread
I am so glad that people here are willing to say what they do. I will honor my promise. If anyone needs computer advice, I will provide it. But you must mention "MINI"
ANd I hope that others will follow suit
And Rachel is just too hot for words, so she gets a free ride. Good to be a girl.

Well.... my job probably sounds a bit boring to folks but I think it's perfect.
I'm a kept woman.
(just don't tell my husband
)
Actually I've been mom for 28 years. I homeschooled my four kids through high school graduation (I'm a killer teacher for Calculus and Physics.
). Now the kids are all graduated and I am pursuing my pottery full time. Yup, I sit in the garage and throw pots all day..... inbetween being grandma, gardening, sewing, reading, quilting, playing the piano, and the perpetual laundry duty.

I work for a few investors in the Real Estate field. I spend most of my time pushing paper, but I make good money and the experience is invaluable!
Oh, and i'm 20, and a complete computer nerd

I'm the Customer Service Manager for the exclusive Telecommunications vendor within the San Diego Convention Center (currently keeping my fingers crossed for a promotion shortly to become the General Manager).
Hubby is a professional photographer - but those jobs out here are hard to find and very competitive. He lost his job a few months back when the newspaper he was working for folded it's division and laid off 26 people.
He is now a Division Manager for "Southern Wine and Spirits". Can't beat free Wine and Booze!!!
