How to Track your MINI
My MINI was produced on December 20, 2007 and shipped from Southampton on the COURAGE on December 31, 2007. I cannot gain access to the aisfree site for some reason although I've applied for the free trial three times now. Anyhow, the port of Charleston website (www.port-of-charleston.com) has the information of when they are expecting the COURAGE (January 17). I'M SO EXCITED!!!

Update: My puppy showed up on the ship "ISOLDE" today
ETA to Port Hueneme on 2/10. cant wait!!
Hello Folks,
my 2008 MCS was ordered at the dealer in dec 2007 and the SA tells me that production is done on Jan 10 and is awaiting transport, per the owners lounge. I've been trying to use the VIN number to get the cargo ID on the Wallenius website for the last week or so, but there is no information on it.
I live in the san jose bay area. Is there any other possible websites, that I can use to track? thanks in advance!

Quick question - My my 08 MCS arrived at the Port 'Awaiting Transport' according to ASK-MINI on Wednesday. I gave it 24 hours to show up at WW's tracking system to see when I could expect to start the journey to the states.
Its been over 48 hours and nothing yet... I have read that others who left later than me made it to a ship and have full tracking info on the WW site. Surely I would have shown up in the system to show I have been booked for a boat in the future?
Or is K-Line a possibility?

I just looked up WWL trying to locate the docks that MINI might use. It looks like Avonmouth, Bristol is their closest port and it is a many cars staged there. Does anyone have more info?
Avonmouth is vicinity of 51°29'12.87"N 2°43'50.14"W on Google Earth.

Can someone confirm that the aislive (free) site is working correctly? When I click on 'home', I receive a URL error. If I click on the Europe map, I see the World map, but can't click on the NYC area.
Thanks from an impatient, soo-to-be-first-time mini owner.!

Hey does anyone know what exactly it means when you look up ship schedules on WW and some boats say * This vessel will not be accepting commercial bookings.? I am seeing these when searching by port for SOUTHAMPTON to CHARLESTON, SC voyages but not on schedules going to NY or Port Hueneme, so seeing that Charleston is the variable I'd assume they're gov't/military contracted but I'm only speculating here.
At any rate it means a long wait at the port for my mini if I assume correctly that it can't go on one of those marked ships.

I may have spotted a clue to my own question:
In this thread (week #9 support group) on page 3:

SizeDoesMatter says that their mini is scheduled on the COURAGE to arrive in Charleston on 3/22, that is one of the voyages marked as "not accepting commercial" in WW schedule. Still don't know why that is, but it looks like our minis can go on those voyages after all!
Edit: Googled for this, more stuff for the OCD and impatient: a schedule of ships leaving/arriving Southampton...

Not that I know of, but I'm a rookie. I will call my sales guy on Monday to see if they have a trucking schedule or status report from the VDC.
Well, I was able to follow the ship LIBERTY through the english channel but then it vanished.... I went to the ais site and and when I search by call name it shows an old voyage back in february. It left southampton 4 days ago... does it usually take that long to appear on the free site?
I've heard that picking up your new MINI requires about fours hours at the dealer. Can anyone clarify for me? 'Watson' arrives in Charleston on 3-20-08 and as many other fanatics, I'm already prepping for pick up!
