It takes a couple of days for it to straighten out. I don't know why, but mine was the same way, and I have heard from others who say the same thing. My MA told me this also. The OL site is very slow to update, but it should work itself out.

 

yep, mine changed within the next day or so after i placed my order. it'll fix itself. no need to worry.

I think mine is on the K-line. The miniusa website says En route, but the WW website doesn't have my VIN...

 

hey is the 866-ASK-MINI customer relations thing closed on the weekends or does it close at 5 or something? i called and it said mines in the body shop with a est finish date of the 15th and i wanted to ask someone what that actually means.

 

so there is no way to track the mini while its being transported from the distribution center to the dealer?

and how long does it stay/take in the distribution center/ transportation to dealer?

 

I would also like to know the answer to this question. My order tracking experience has gone from great to disappointing. My MINI went into production quicker than expected. It was ready for transport VERY fast. It was only on the loading dock 1 day when it set sail. The schedule for docking in NJ was moved up a day so it arrived quicker than expected. It was unloded at the distribution center last Wednesday (according to the shop's log). Everything was moving at light speed then all went black. since last Wednesday nothing has changed. The OL tracking shows it still enroute! I've asked my MA for updates and he has offered nothing. So it's been almost a week since it was unloaded and all I hear is crickets chirping in the still of the night.

 

Once it arrives at the destination port, there's no tracking except for the OL which is like 1 week off. The best method of tracking once your car is delivered to the port of destination is your MA.

I don't think your MA is doing his job. My MA has been able to give me an update every time I asked him. He was able to tell me when the car was finished at the VDC, when the truck was scheduled to pick it up, and when it was expected at the dealer. Talk to the Sales Manager. Maybe your MA is new(er) and isn't up on all the details of how to get you the information you require.

I had the same issue. I of course called my MA immediately becasue I was paranoid. He said it just hadn't changed on the website and read me all the specs, which matched - laser blue, auto, s etc. Then he said "with a black top right?" I nearly had a heart attack...he was just kidding and assured me my order said white top.

Next day the website was updated.

 

Wanted to also say thanks; tired of seeing "You're MINI is in transport" needed more detail to ease my nerves!

Thanks for the very clear directions on tracking my new mini, which as of April 30, was aboard the Elektra, close to Atlantic shores. I have also tried signing up for trial membership on the last site, for tracking close to the United States, but am still waiting to hear back from them in order to get sign-on info. Meanwhile, does anyone have a ballpark for how long it usually takes for a Mini to get to Washington D.C. area (specifically Sterling, Va.) once ship docks in New York? I'm so looking forward to seeing my new Lightning Blue (Black Trim) Mini Cooper S Clubman, with manual shift, of course!

 

I have essentially the same question, except mine is coming to Tate instead of Sterling... my HC (silver trim) Cooper Clubman manual is on the other side of the pond and I want to know when I have to take what will be the longest drive of my life - followed by the shortest drive back to DC...

Best way is to call 866-ASK-MINI and speak to a person. They'll be able to tell you what week you are. (Or contact your MA)

I am unable to access the owners lounge on my new iMac 24" computer. I can do so at work but not at home on the new mac, which I love much more. I tried using firefox and it just hangs up. I also, much to my displeasure, enabled those anoying pop ups so access would work. Still no luck. I can get to the owners lounge, I just can't log in, or if I log in, it hangs up on the mini server. Any ideas? Sure would like to see how she is doing!

What happened when you tried Safari? Can you run a Windows emulator to (gasp) run IE? Something like http://www.parallels.com/en/products...lzzy9w0zv50rll maybe..

 

When I run safari, the link for the owners lounge does nothing when I click on it. I no longer have internet explorer since they don't support mac any longer. Come to think of it, my very old laptop does have explorer! I will try that fossil!

i have a macbook leopard program and it works with out a problem. Make sure you are up to date on your software. When i first logged on they had me update theflash program and then it was fine.
