is there anyway to see the specifications of your car after you login to the owners lounge? i changed my options several times and want to make sure its right. thanks!

 

there is an option under all the delivery status options where you can see your vehicle but at first it will probably be incorrect. give it time to catch up to your order. the Owners Lounge is always behind. My MA told me they only update that site twice a week. Call 1866 ASK MINI and speak to a rep or call your MA.

 

"Oliver," my second child, after my '04, was born on 6/6/08 and arrived at the port on 6/11 ... still waiting to here if he's left. (ASK-Mini didn't know, and my advisor is on vacay... grrrr!!!)

W&W has no info for him, so he must be on another line.

Sigh.

Mine was born on either the 6th or 7th, and is STILL sitting in Southampton, according to my MA!

A ship left for Charleston on the 8th, and I wasn't lucky enough to catch it. OK, no problem, there's one leaving the 13th, I'll be on that one...NOT ACCORDING TO MY MA!!! I'm still at the dock?!?

Next ship doesn't leave until June 21, which means the EARLIEST it will be to me will be Mid-July!

 

Well honestly that sounds about right. Mine was built on the 5th and probably won't be on the boat until the 21st and will be here hopefully around July 13th. Looks like we will be on the same boat.

 

Mine was completed the 11th and it looks like i missed the boat on the 13th so I am planning on catching the 21st. This is truly hell.

UPDATE!!! Just got off the phone with my MA. "Oliver" was put on a k-line ship, the Western Highway, which left port on the 13th and is due in SC on the 27th! Time to see id I can track that bad boy, so I'm back to page one on this thread. Hope some of you are on there with me!!

 

I found it. It's a little over halfway to the US. Anyone who knows that their car (or is hoping) is on the same boat, the tracking call sign is 3EJK5.

Just got off the phone with my MA and "James" is on the Kline ship and should be here in Memphis TN by Monday the 30th. The downside is that Im sure I wont be b-b-q'ing on the fourth now. I have a feeling Ill be cruising down the highway. Life is good.

SPF - go to the sailwx.info site at the beginning of this thread and type in the call sign SFMN and you'll see it. (It's almost to the Panama Canal.)

 

Actually, it cleared the Canal early yesterday. The SAILWX site is less reliable once you're close to land, or on the Pacific side.

 

According to the voyage details from W&W, my Mini left the UK on 6/12 on the Asian Chorus and is to arrive in NY on 6/20. I can't seem to get the current location of this ship. I don't know it's call sign.

Mine left the UK this morning on the next wave... the Maersk Wave! It's scheduled to dock in Port Hueneume, CA on July 10th. I can't wait!!

Does anyone happen to know approximately how long it spends at the distribution center (stateside) before being sent to your dealership?

 

Since Wellington is on his way to Port of Hueneme on the Rigoletto (due in June 26), I've been wondering the same thing. I took a chance and called the WW office at the Port to see fi they would tell me anything. Nice guy there, here's what he said:

Once the ship arrives, "...it will take 1-2 days to offload all the cars on the ship." After that "it goes to the delivery center, and it could be a few days to a week there, depending on what they need to do for your car."

I got a call today from my MA who said that the ship is due in on the 26th, and they would expect the car to arrive in Colorado "between July 3 and July 7. Then it takes a week to prep the car, so delivery should be around July 12." I have NO IDEA why it should take so long at the dealer, as I'm getting no options installed, but at least that's what I was told.

 

Our Sidewalk arrived at Southhampton on June 20th. A ship left on the 21st but it(it isn't named yet) wasn't on it. Here it is the 1st of July and I still can't find it on a ship. Askmini thought it should be floating at least a week after it got to the dock.
Really want to drive the Sidewalk to MITM3 but at least we still have Minimae to drive.

 

My MCS is at the port waiting for a shipping vessel. Does anybody know how long this process is? I live in Texas, will the MCS be shipped to Galveston? If so, how long should the wait time be? Thanks any information would be more then I have now.

 

It can take a week to get on a boat...it took me about that long.
The port for Texas is Charleston, SC.

find the WW site in the beginning of this thread and check daily to see if your VIN is listed on any of the WW boats

 

I live in CA I was told it would take 6-8 weeks before I recieved my mini S I ordered. Cant sell my current car till I get it. I have a feeling I will be checking ALOT- so far it still says on order. But I think the order didnt get officially placed till this week.

 

it's roughly 4-5 weeks of transit after completion, and depending on where you are up to a week to get to the dealer. If you have your production #, start pestering the nice people at ASK MINI soon.
