Oh man...stay focussed. I know when I got the call last week for my Saturday morning pickup, I could barely function at work. I was having visions of myself driving with the windows down, sunroof open, wind in my hair, and the biggest goofy grin.

However, now that I have the car, I've determined that the goofy grin last quite awhile after parking the car...

I'm a little worried because my mother always told me not to make funny faces because it might stick that way. If that's true, I'm in big, big trouble.

 

And me too.... waiting....

 

I am not very focused AT ALL! I decided to check online and it says Estimated Delivery Date 7/14, which is earlier than what my dealer said. Maybe there is Monday pickup hope afterall!!!

Also, can anyone tell me how to do plate transfer and all of that? I am totally clueless! PS- I'm in Ohio.

The first thing i recommend doing for all of us is give your car a good washdown. jet wash the windscreen nozels, wheel wells, and drain/replace the wiper fluids. should be good after that

 

I've not gotten mine. Isolde docked yesterday (7/11) in Port Hueneme, so it looks to be about a week or so now...

Was the Isolde supposed to arrive in Port Hueneme July 9th?

The reason why I ask is that I am unsure what build week I am but my MA told me my boat would be in July 9 at Port Hueneme.

So maybe I found my mini?

They told me July 15-20 for pickup.

Starting to go bonkers.

I too was originally told 7/9 but reality was 7/11. Yes, that is where you car is.

Yep. I plan on posting more once my car comes in but the short story is a BRG Mini with a white top and a white decal (for the pano roof) along with the convience and premium package.

My friend has a blue mini cooper S with a skipjack on the roof. I was hooked.

PS: Went to Motoringfile.com and have been listening to Whiteroof podcasts for the past couple of days

My new iPod Nano should be here friday... need to bring it down to the dealer since I ordered the ipod connector.

bluegarvis and myminimini according to WW site, Isolde docked today, which is a day behind from the original ETA of 7/11/06. I'm not sure if I'm on this boat or Sagittarius Leaded which will dock on 7/15/06. Hopefully, I'm with you guys.

I _just_ checked OL on the mini site and I am officially "at the distribution center"

 

New info:

OL says "Estimated Delivery Date" (to my dealer?) 7/17.

sweetness - just checked the owner's lounge and my "order details" were updated... it now shows an estimated delivery date of 7/16... thats sunday, so maybe get it on monday??

 

Mine was released to a carrier yesterday. Guaranteed 4 days, maybe even 1 or 2-SO EXCITED

 

Just checked the Mini Website and found that I can no longer track my Mini. Maybe that's because I'm picking her up on Saturday. Now the link on the Mini Owner's Lounge reads 'Upload your own photos' (That will be happening very soon!). Once inside, I saw a menu option on the left hand side (bottom) which read 'Furture Features'. Pretty cool stuff. Here's what it reads...

FUTURE FEATURES

As the Owners' Lounge evolves, added functionality will help make it easy for you to stay on top of taking care of your MINI. Eventually you'll be able to view your maintenance schedule, and receive automatic maintenance reminders. In addition, you'll be able to access a catalog of MINI accessories, receive special offers and check the estimated monetary value of your MINI according to the Kelly Blue Book. (Though we all know the true value could never be measured in mere numbers.)

Well, I just checked OL and mine still shows "En Route", I think I'm really in Sagittarius Leader which dock on July 15. I was hoping I'm in Isolde eventhough my MA already told me my Mini reach port on the 15th. Can't wait. I think I'm stil the favorite to come last from this group :-)

 

And my MINI is still listed as coming to town on July 31. It's been at Charleston since the 29th of June!

My MA probably told them to put it on ice for me until the end of the month, as I had requested earlier.... now why did I say that?

My dealer is moving to fancier digs on August 1, mine could be the first one in the new showroom????

Wow, for such an active theread, no posts in 3 days? Checker, have you been notified that you MINI is at the VDC? Mine is according to the OL at MINIUSA... If you were on the Isolde (which I think you were), you should be there.
