I've thought about getting one but can't decide what. I had to renew my tag this month anyway, so I don't have to rush on deciding what to pick...

Congrats adrenalinelife, Coopster is looking good. The window tinting really sets off the rest of the car. I can't even tell that the clear bra is on. Can you see it when you are up close?

Hey Sam.ben, your world traveling "mi-Knee" will be home soon. Once it is, put the top down, buckle up and hit the road. All the days and months of waiting become a distant memory as the sound of the supercharger kicks in and the smile on your face extends to the width of the car. It won't be long!

Of the ones you have I like D MINI S the best... what about switching around the SKARTGO to SGOKART? I like that too.

I decided on mine, hopefully they'll still be available when Scootr gets here in August... 2 COOPS (my last name is Cooper!)

Thanks Swizzle for your words of encouragement...My MA e-mailed me again last evening that my car arrived last night at 6PM and they will do their dealer pre-delivery inspection, install strut brace/iPOD today and I will pick her up tomorrow afternoon...pretty psyched actually.

Hopefully I can cruise her around a bit and post some pics before I leave on Tuesday and have to lay her to rest in the garage for two weeks...all in all just glad she came before I left.

Hey, my hat is of to you... Your ride, Sylvia, looks awesome. I envy the fact that you are almost through your break in period. It is so hard for me to constrain myself with the throttle ... Especially since the supercharger and JCW intake really take notice after 4500 RPM ...

Thanks for the compliment...that is what the Coopster said.....lol....
Check out his last mod......

I just put on these 18" rims last night...a story to go along with that one....

Well that is a good question. The dealer is allegedly going to call me when they can schedule their installer...translation when ever they get around to it. Thanks for the kind comments.

In addition to the above picture here is a another one of the aftermarket 18" two-piece rims I installed last night....

Wow! That looks great, Hero. Think I might go with those mudflaps soon myself.

I've had a hella week or two, lost track of how long it's been but I do have a couple (lousy) shots of that rear bumper protection strip. The longer it's been since I've put it on, the more I like it.

Holy crap people! I have like way too much to do for a while and suddenly the entirety of North America and allies is driving a MINI it seems by glancing through the posts in here. I love it!

I'd love to comment on each and every new MINI that's been posted in here but I'm so many pages behind I'm not sure I can. I'm reminded of the other week when I hooked up with my local MINI motoring club and there were 42 of 'em lined up in the parking lot. They were all spectacular, no two of them even close to identical and I wanted every different mod I saw added to my MINI, immediately because it all looked so great.

I see all these new photos of all your great new cars and I'm all, 'Doh, I should have went BRG. Ohhhhh, I like those stripes. Oh, man I knew I should have ordered those wheels instead. Oh wow, PW looks incredible with that combo!'

Then a funny thing happened to me yesterday. MiniYak got his first boo boo (a wee collision with a UFO on the passenger mirror cap that tore through the ClearBra protection there) and the dealer was taking care of it for me so I got to drive another MINI. Checkmate, purple, silver top, loaded with goodies, more than mine by a long shot. I got maybe 5 miles in that car before I realized I made the perfect choice for me. It was a wonderful car with near identical mileage but I realized I wouldn't take it if they offered me cash with the deal if I had to give up MiniYak for it.

I suspect most of you are discovering much the same things yourself about now and those very few of us left, hang tight, you'll know very soon. Congratz to all the new MINI's, I know you are as happy with them as I am with mine.

Now, please remove all your mods and mail them to me please. kthx.

p.s. - please include instruction sheets for installation.

Saturday's deliveries?

Let's see - who is picking up their babies today? Seems like quite a few people - hope they post pics!!

Locomini - I like SGOKART as well.

Adrenalinelife - I love your new rims. They look awesome.

somebody earlier in the thread asked about clear bras and if you could see them - Penelope is wearing one as well and you can only see it when you are standing at certain angles and even then it's only a faint line. I think they're a great investment.

One more thing - if anybody has a sunroof, I HIGHLY recommend getting limo tint on it. It was 102 degrees here today and I think, without the limo tint, the car would have been really tough to cool down and the sun would have been unbearable.

2nd that on the new rims adrenalinelife! Great lookin MINI! Can't wait to get new wheels, but hubby says I have to - he says we've spent too much money this summer making me happy (MINI and kitchen cabinets)!:impatient

Miniprof, Glad to hear you love your clearbra... That's one thing I feel I truly need, as the front end of my current car is trashed from pits. I've seen many bad comments on it, but you have now made me feel all better about my decision.

And I agree about the limo-tinted sunroof. Heck, I even decided against a sunroof because of the heat here in AZ (117 today!) and the fact that my afternoon drive home from work is about an hour during the hottest part of the day. Didn't think I could stand it with that wonderful huge sunroof!

Hey new owners, how 'bout some pics?

Wise choice. I started to regret it about 1 day after I ordered it. All I could think about was how insanely hot it would be during the summer. I'm a redhead and can get sunburned in mid-winter! Then when I heard about doing limo tint, I signed right up. Even at that, the car was pretty tough to keep cool today. It would be even worse where you are. We usually only have a handful of days over 100.

I'm so glad to hear the MiniYak is number one in your heart. It's amazing how many gorgeous MINIs there are, and I sometimes second guess all my choices. But I love my Penelope and she's just right for me.

I have been having the time of my life with my new Mini, its better than I expected, I got to the dealer at 1:30pm and 2 hours later I drove off the lot and I just got home ..been motoring for the last 7 hours ..What a great car!!!, I love it ..I visited several friends and family members to of course show off my new Mini and everybody loved it. I took some pictures with my cell phone camera unfortunally the picture quality is terrible, I dont know how to post them here so I have decided to post them in my photo gallery...later when I have access to a real camera I will post better pictures.

I vote for sgokart as well....
miniprof and cooperminis thanks for the compliments on the rims....

cooperminis....I have the sunroof and I also live in AZ...but I am definitely glad that I got it...I test drove minis w/o it before I ordered and I think it is one of those things that make a mini unique...Yeah it will be a little warmer, but I have actually seen after market sun shades specifically made for it...beside you can limo tint it like miniprof or put a roof decal on it .... Either way AZ is hot as heck. I will say that the AC in the mini seems to work rather well. I had my car parked out in the sun today and when I got in it was not too bad and cooled off quickly. I also had my windows tinted, but not the sun roof...I think that helps quite a bit.

I am starting to put some miles on the Coopster...I would like to take it on a road trip, preferably one with winding, roiling hills....like Canyon Lake.

I know I'm probably way behind most of you, but Tanner got his first bath today. I got that Mr Clean car wash stuff and so far I'm impressed. It's drying without spots. I'm taking a break before cleaning the inside, its too darn hot!

Good to hear! I'm getting one too and was hoping that it would work as promised.
