Mini clubs in Bay Area

Hey All,

being a new Mini owner I'm interested in, possibly, getting involved with a local Mini club. But alas I know of none. I gave the forums here a "quick" glance and didn't see anything that related to club action. Can anyone point me in the direction of a local club(s)? It would also help to know why you like a particular club. BTW I live in San Jose, CA.

Cheers

Check out clubs by region. I'm a member of Norcal Minis, basically the East and South Bay Club. http://www.norcalminis.com SF has MOASF. Redwood Empire - REME; Central Valley has Midcal Minis. They each have a presence on the Club boards on NAM.

I bought a MINI about a year ago (used, cause I couldn't wait 3 months for delivery). Anyway, I really enjoy my car (even tho she's a tempermental mistress at times) and I keep thinking it would be great fun to get together with some fun people with MINI's and check out each others cars, talk about customization, upgrades, etc. And of course, go for drives. So if you are a member of a Bay Area club, please let me know about the clubs and what kind of things you guys do. Also what are the members like?

cooperbooboi - welcome to NAM!
You can check out any of the forums listed above (as well as MidCal) and meet up with people about every other week.

Very cool about the club listings... if I had just looked a bit deeper I prolly would have found them. On a related note I think I was less interested in the actual club listings, but more interested in list members experiences with particular clubs. If I'm going to devote some time to a club it would be nice to get some different opinions about the various options

Cheers
