MY 2006 - Production Week 45 Support group
well... I may be doing the phila to jersey city run
I really want to make it, but that day is my dad's birthday. hopefully I can pull it off for that morning!
oh.. and monday Blue goes in for his first checkup.
that and it's almost time for another week 45 group to come around... wonder if one has ever wrapped completely yet?

I wish that we could re-name this group.
MIB now has over 14,000. I think I have the lead on mileage.
Also I have noticed that the airbag stickers have blistered like a second degree burn. My "Warning to Female passengers" decal is still doing fine. Anyone else have the blistering airbag stickers on the sunvisors?

HEY! Who changed the thread title? I don't like it. It looks like we have model year 2005 MINIs rather than 2006. (And 2005 sounds really old.) Besides, there won't be a week 45 production week this year in the U.S.
The title of the thread should be "MY 2006 - Production Week 45 Support Group".
update 8/24: I have emailed the administrator.
update 8/25: The "MY 2006" thread title is now in effect.

The problem is that our cars were built in Calendar year 2005 as model year 2006. Everyone took delivery before 2006.
I edited my original post that started the topic so say Calendar year 2005 Model year 2006 week 45 club. Technically the Calendar year week 45 will soon be ordering their cars.

OK... I'm rarring (sp?) to go on the Jersey City - CT run. I've got the wife excited about it too!!! I've got my Mini Takes The States decal ready to be applied (not putting it on until the day of)! I've still got to buy the tickets for the Vintage races at Limerock. No one else doing this leg??? I'm only at 4500+ miles... gotta be the lowest... damn my 10 minute commute!
We'll be motoring up with the phillyMINI group. Last i heard i thought theRoyalWe was planning on going but i don't know if that has changed. If you don't start putting some miles on i'm going to be at triple your mileage - i'm right around 11000 now.
MIB has 10,000 miles to Inspection 1. Just a few ticks under 19,000 miles. Things should start slowing down as we move out of MrsDiff parents' basement and into an appartment in Elkhart in two weeks.
MIB has hust over 19,000 miles when I was let go by my employer Friday due to. To make it worse MrsDiff informed me that she was asking for a divorce.
I gave her MIB as it still has factory warrenty with road side assistance. The 1993 minivan has failed her twice on the highway. I would rather her have the better car.
This is my final MINI IN BLACK up date.

Dude! That is all dreadful news. My condolences on the job, the wife and most of all the car.
Thanks for all of the enthusiasm you have shown on this thread since you started it over a year ago. We'll miss you as we continue the support group for week 45 production year 2006.
Hope at some time in the future you'll be a MINI owner once more with MIB II.
