My MINI received the 10,000 mile oil service at the 11,500+ mile mark. The car also got the brake system flush.

And here's a photo of my steering wheel hub with the removed plastic logo:

Wow, and I thought I was low milage. I'm nearly to 30,000. I assume that you got the yearly oil changes regardless?

Anyone else still around?

I personally changed the oil in March 2006 at 1500 miles and May 2007 at 7500 miles. Prestige MINI did it in November 2008 at 11,500 miles.

I intend to change the transmission oil this year.

I passed the 30,000 mark a couple of months ago.

I just replace my spark plugs. I would suggest others do it as well. My old spark plugs were quite worn out.

After a little more than 3 years, I still have a joy driving it.

I got 31.37 mpg on my latest tank of gas. And I remember January 2009 and the days of cheap gas.

And now the 14,500 mile mark.

My MINI also passed NJ state inspection.

Don't over do it.

I think I'm around 35,000 right now.

Have you had any major problems? While under warranty I had to have my clutch replaced and recently had to have the upper motor mount replaced. Found a good local shop here in Fargo that gets all of the BMW service notes, so my MINI is going to them now.

Happy 4th Birthday to all of us.

Skeffers, I think we're the only ones left monitoring this thread.

You could be right. Most likely the others had short term leases on their MINIs. And their cars did not have the best body colors.

Mine was an outright purchase. And I am glad I did.

I have had neither major nor minor problems. It's a great car.

I had a Mazda 626 in which the clutch was replaced three times; mainly because I abused it. I'm much more careful now of how I use it in the MINI. That Mazda lasted about 10 years. I think my MINI will last longer.

But this is the year I'm going to change the transmission oil--really.

Need a new supercharger. The rear seal leak to the internal oil reservoir. Pretty spending repair.

Other posts have mentioned that the supercharger is part of the MINI's exhaust system and is thus covered by the long term exhaust system warranty.

I've heard that is only in CA? Have you heard otherwise? I sent an e-mail to my service advisor asking the same, but he didn't respond.

Definitely CA, but I don't know about other states. Chrysler covers the supercharger under its powertrain warranty.
