5 years old today. I have about 45000 miles and looking forward to the next 5 years.

 

I've passed the 19,000 mile mark.

 

Just passed 50,000 miles. Taking it in for service this week - I have a small oil leak and a rubbing sound (maybe wheel bearing going out) that need to be fixed.

 

I've passed the 19,500 mile mark.

Need to do oil change, radiator flush, and brake flush.

 

I've passed the 20,000 mile mark.

Need to do brake flush.

 

Grrr. More problems. Just passed 50,000 and have a rear main oil leak and I have a check engine light that won't go away. Not sure if it is related, but my power steering pump is making ugly noises.

Still need to do brake flush.

 

I've passed the 21,000 mile mark.

 

I've passed the 21,500 mile mark.

 

Just hit 60,000.

 

I've passed the 22,000 mile mark.

My car has a slow coolant leak--could be time to replace the thermostat housing and install some silicone hoses.

I've passed the 23,500 mile mark.

Still need to do brake flush and fix coolant leak.

Replaced original battery - 11/29.

 

After a track day in October, my MINI has been in the shop with a blown valve and a crack in the head.

 

I've passed the 24,000 mile mark.

Still need to do brake flush and fix coolant leak.

Also plan to change transmission oil and brake pads.

 

I've passed the 24,500 mile mark.

Still need to do brake flush, fix coolant leak, change transmission oil and brake pads(?).

 

I've reached 25,000 miles.

Replaced thermostat and housing - 4/23

 

Passed 72000. Got a new engine.

Also got a 2015 VW GTI to eventually replace the MINI. Maybe the daughter will get the MINI.

To do list: replace brake lines, brake pads and rotors, replace spark plugs, replace serpentine belt and tensioner.

 

I've passed the 27,000 mile mark.

I am skipping the official MINI Inspection 1. My dealer gave me a free inspection and I had recently refreshed all my car's fluids and filters. I just have to reset the Service Interval Indicator.

To do list: replace brake lines, brake pads and rotors, replace serpentine belt and tensioner.
